In late 2022, I purchased a light fixture from ********************** and Lighting, located at ********************************************************************. When I came to pick up the light fixture, I was told by *******, that my light fixture had been giving to someone else in error. They would not give me a refund, but a store credit. On 2/3/2023, I picked out a three-tier drum chandelier for $500.00 on sales order *****. It still left me with a $30.00 store credit, which ****** Lighting would not pay me out for the $30.00 store credit and there is nothing to purchase in their store for $30.00. When my contractor installed the light, it did not work. I had my electric checked, but the electrician said the wiring was hooked up properly. I am out $400.00 extra to contractors trying to install a faulty light fixture. I have asked for the light fixture to be fixed or give me a full refund.***** at ****** Barstools and Lighting is refusing a refund or to have the light repaired. I purchased bar stools and was completely satisfied, but the light fixtures has been completely ridiculous.

            06/15/2023

The light fixture in question was purchased and taken on 02/03/23
Its original sale price was $995 so was a bargain at $439.
On the day our showroom electrician says he remembers vividly that the lady asked for it to be illuminated and he took the whole fitting to the back and wired it and she liked it.
She asked him if it could be switched separately and he told her one would have to place a rotary switch on the cable and swag it.
She then said she would have the electrician put a wall switch in.
As we always do he wrapped it in bubble pack and gave her the LED lamps that were in it when it was tested and placed it in her car. We would have no reason to put the LED lamps in it if we havent lit it for her.
She tells us that the light doesnt work on 05/25/23 and aggressively demands her money back. From her email to me on 5/25/23
I will call the attorney generals office, chamber of commerce, the better business bureau and I will *** you for my other expenses and my time!
This before we could even do anything for her!
Fitting was returned to us on 06/06/23 (4 months after she saw it lit in our showroom)
This fitting had such force put on the bracket that connects to the rod suspension that it completely snapped and the shades had no support other than the electrical cable.
This was not returned in the condition it was sold and taken.
Pictures are of the damage which demonstrates that force was needed to break the bracket.  Followed by a screenshot from the video she sent to me showing the fixture on the floor which we know is crazy for any shaded light! Finally the repaired fixture!
As a courtesy we have done the only repair that can be done by two nylon straps.  We believe this is the only remedy but cannot guarantee the repair however it is functioning now.  Keeping in mind that the bridge was broken on the light fixture returned to us which happened between February and its return in June.
In 55 years in retail we have never known anybody purchasing an expensive light fixture without them seeing it illuminated!  This woman is not capable of being truthful.
Once this is resolved and she collects the light and of course that there are no more lies (not hearsay! she says I personally said things I certainly didnt) or aggression we are happy to give her the $30 that she is demanding.
