  I had a drainage system installed by this company in July of 2023. That year was a record drought. The installation occurred on July 15th, 2023. This year after Hurricane ***** we realized the system didn't work at all. We had over a foot of water in our back yard and not a drop of water came out of the system. I advised ***** Polson of this and he promised to come check it out...he never did. I had our plumbers scope the system, they reported the lines were of varying heights and completely plugged with dirt/debris. I sent a certified letter asking them to rectify the situation or I would have to take them to court. They never responded. I then filed for citizen's dispute trying to resolve this, I showed up for the mediation but Polson Landscaping never responded. This weekend we were grinding the ***** of a tree that was uprooted during Hurricane ****** and found the drain line had a knot in the fabric sock covering the end of the drain and would prevent it from being attached to another drain line and any dirt/debris from exiting the system. We couldn't find ANY drain line it could have possibly been connected to. I contacted ***** Polson and asked him to explain why there was knot tied in the drainage line. He asked about the end of the line...I told him it wasn't connected to anything and asked him to refund the $3000 we paid for a system that didn't work or to be taken to court. He said "see you in court" and then threatened to sue us if we contacted him again.Given that this issue was just discovered and that there is no way this system could have functioned as designed I would like to see if your organization can help us out before we have to pay money to file in small claims court. Under normal cirumstances I would ask for them to correct the issue but given the fact that this doesn't just appear to be a poor job but actual fraud I don't even want them on my property again.
