The mechanics damaged the car and will not fix their damages because of after market additions. As in the tires and rims. You’re telling me you can’t work on a car because of tires and rims? The best part is that they admitted to damaging it and still will not fix it. On top of that, they have worked on this car before with the same after market additions and it was never an issue. Bud ******** needs to be fired for how useless he is and the fact he cannot hire mechanics with enough experience, training or common sense to not damage cars. Absolutely embarrassing on his part.Review from Cynthia C

No Credibility! Don't buy from this company! Toyota sent a recall notice for potential fires from the Rav 4 battery last December. They still claim that they do not know how to fix it. I just called Gettel and the young female that answered the phone, claimed that Gettel has "nothing to do with the recall - it is just corporate". I could not get her to let me speak to a manager to stop the constant mail items to my home wanting me to buy another car - Her answer "Oh, that is just marketing". I cannot comprehend the ineptness of this "representative" at Gettel. She stands as a hallmark of what Toyota is today. No credibility. I will never buy from them again.Review from Mark G

Unfortunately they don't allow you to give it zero Stars I've had the same problem with my car twice now the first time they claimed it was the battery they replace the battery but they were going to charge me cuz it was just outside the warranty I told him that I was going to leave and take my chances because I'm not buying a new battery and don't have the money to buy a new battery on a car that I had only a little over a month it may have been a program car but still during their inspection they should have known that the battery was bad they replaced my battery for free my problem is is I turn the key the car won't turn over won't start won't do nothing this is the second time this has happened I have left message after message with them to call me back so that I can get the car in to find out what's wrong with it cuz it definitely isn't the battery never get a phone call back nobody ever returns my call this is the worst business I've ever dealt with once they sell the car they washed your hands of you they don't care anymore. And it's just excuse after excuse when you try to call and they're all they're so busy so just leave a message what good is it to leave a message if they never return your call they basically do not care about you go to any other dealership just don't go hereReview from Bill M

I had my vehicle towed to this location due to an engine issue 12/29/22. They do not have a tow service available so luckily i have AAA. Once my car was towed to this location i was asked a few questions and told i would hear back in a few days, and they let me know they do not have any cars for me to use in the meantime ( i can understand that due to the demand on cars and them being a busy company.) Fast forward two weeks later i have still not heard a thing about the car. I have left countless messages with the service department. The huge kicker is I scheduled an appointment for Jan 3rd for an oil change and over all service. I added to that service list (they have an app where you can adjust and add services to your car along with adding notes) that the car is no longer running and that it had to be towed to **** The last call i made to the company (1/10/23) i was told that they have no notes on my car or any information they could give me and that they were going to leave a note on the computer to get back to me ASAP. Seems off and odd due to fact that even if they were swamped with business that my car should have been seen for its original appointment on Jan 3rd. On Jan 11th i have still not heard anything back. Highly stressed and unimpressed with the service i have received by the service department. I plan on stopping in today to speak face to face with someone.Review from JOHN L.

I bought a 2014 ****** Sentra with ****** miles on it , i was charged half of the replacement parts to make the car sellable when i bought it , not fair, but i agreed. 9 days before my 90 day warranty was up the a/c went out and stop blowing cold air. i asked the dealership if i can get it fixed since it was still under the ninety days, and also all the a/c parts was NEW and i already paid half of the cost to fix it. I was told no the car pasted the **** mile warranty. i called many times to the dealership and was transferred to other people would said they would call me back and no call still waiting. i was told to bring it in a month later to see if they can look at it. i asked will it be covered under the warranty or at least a good will warranty to show respect for the customer the answer was no. UNLESS THIS IS FIXED UNDER WARRANTY, I WILL NOT RECOMEND ANYONE TO BUY FROM ****** ****Customer Response

MY 90 DAYS WARRANTY IS UP ON SEPTEMBER 21, 2022. IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE IF THE DEALSHIP STANDS BEHIND THEIR CUSTOMERS AND THEIR NEEDS IF THEY WANT US TO BUY AGAIN FROM THEM.Review from Yvette A

My daughter and son-in-law scheduled an appointment with Gettel Kia of Bradenton to see a vehicle. After traveling over an hour to this location they met with a sales rep. They were very interested in buying the vehicle and began negotiating. After waiting a long while for the rep to come back to his desk after going over the offer with his manager, they were told that the vehicle had been underpriced in error and that they could not honor the price listed. I would think that a reputable company such as theirs should have honored this price as most businesses do. This is very unprofessional. Especially after no one caught the error until after they drove over an hour to get there. Both my husband and I accompanied them to the dealership and witnessed this. I should hope that something can be done to compensate for this error.Gettel Kia of Bradenton Response
