Stayed there first few months of 23. Had major tv trouble had to trade to new Rv we were allowed to use the space next to ours for free while moving stuff from old to new We will be there for 4 months this winter As far as dog park it was great our dog loved it. Lots of trees with shade for dog to run in Staff was great Susan was the best the owner was also great. If you play bingo as him about a duck f*** Due to the above Rv trouble we did not have time to rent any water craft that will be different this year I just cant beleive the long nasty review I just read Only bad thing was when I got nailed by a nasty insect. Well its Florida after all

Read the fine print! You won't get any support from this staff so be prepared for disappointment if you go here. The website is very misleading. This place is run by con artist; they will take your money and NO MATTER WHAT you will NEVER get your money back.The bathrooms were filth! The soap dispensers were bone dry and the toilets haven't been cleaned in god knows how long. The dog park is never maintained so it's just a fenced in pile of dog p*** We had no fire ring, we had no picnic table, and we definitely had no fun. There is nothing to explore. There are no trails or even look out points. The pool was ok but I have to assume that was the chemicals because the hot tub was *****. There is no shade. The only food allowed in the park is from their crappy bar. They over charge for everything! The park is very loud due to that bar next door. This is definitely not a quite nature park. The owner is a loud, rude, drunk and he has no respect for the people that pay him for services. The entire staff was short of accommodating. They provide no support to guests. They are just rude! They treat you as if you owe them for letting you camp there. They provide no customer service. This park is mostly ** residents. This is not a campground! The ** Resident that was next to us was definitely selling drugs out of his **. The ** Resident across from us blasted music all hours of the night. The ** Resident a couple lanes down allowed their dog off the leash and he kept coming into our site. We tried so hard to "make the best of it" but the staff tried harder to ruin our visit. The staff, the crowd, and (most of all) the owner, are inappropriate, ill-mannered, and impolite. This park is a huge disappointment. Do not bring your family here!

I am so sorry that you did not enjoy yourself at our establishment. I find it odd that you actually paid extra on the last day to extend your reservation to utilize our amenities, since you were so very unhappy. Had you of read the BOLD print from the beginning, you would have correctly clicked on the correct reservation for TENT camping. You willfully went on the website and untruthfully stated that you had an ** camping trailer, and even answered untruthfully how long your ** camping trailer is so that you could make a reservation in the ** on camping site. The rules are clearly stated on the website the site requirements. Also, upon checking into the campground, you have to sign a conformation that you are there and that you will abide by all rules and regulations that are on the website, as well as, on the back of the map that you were given. Included in those rules: No tents, screen rooms, or deck in the ** area (unless attached to your awning on your ** and on the slab.) Your tent was freestanding and not attached to an ** that is registered through the *** and has an up to date tag and registration and is insured. You can't do that with a tent. Also, clearly stated, You also parked in an ** site to launch your kayaks from the bank. This is strictly prohibited! You went across the roped off area and ran over a fire ring. You were told to launch your kayaks at the designated place at our boat ramp and park in the designated parking area. You also stated that the staff members were rude? She was being very polite and accommodating and very helpful with assisting you to the correct designated TENT CAMPING AREA and even gave you a credit and a credit, out of her own pocket to use in the restaurant/lounge. The older gentleman, a retired vet and never done a drug in his life a drug dealer? Please keep that to yourself and thank a vet instead of lying and bashing innocent people. Music so loud? I am a witness that this did not happen, being that I was in the campground myself all night. And music from the bar so loud? Why did your friend come into the office stating that our band must have canceled because it was so super quiet and she couldn't hear anything all night? I informed her that the band did not cancel, in fact, it was such a wonderful fun filled so much laughter evening. The dog park area. It is mowed every week. It is very well maintained. So many pet owners are very happy with the dog park and rave about it all the time. I am sorry that you couldn't expand your senses and find something to explore, there actually are so many trails and wildlife and something new and exciting every day. No shade? I can walk over to where you were camping on this bright and sun shiny day and provide you with documented proof that there actually IS SHADE in the area that you and your friends were camping. The toilets not being clean? That is funny and I won't even address that part. I know for a fact that those bathrooms and toilets are very well maintained. The owner being rude? You were the one who decided to be rude and not abide by rules that were drawn up for a reason. I am very proud of the team that is employed at this beautiful, wonderful, fun filled campground and lounge. Being that you hated the park so much, but once encountering such negativity from your visit, you chose to pay extra to stay longer, I do hope that you will follow your own advice as far as future visits are concerned.
