    My brother and I signed a lease for an apartment that was approved. We made money orders for the complex and provided it to them and that unit that was promised to us was given away. The second unit promised to us was also given away too. This was after we turned in our security deposit for the unit we signed a lease for. The complex promised to call us back and never called us back about a unit we could rent instead. My brother and I showed up to the complex in which they stated they would give us a unit with less than what we wanted and paid for. The complex refuses to answer my calls after admitting they seen me calling regarding our unit. We were to move in originally 6/23/2023 but it failed to happen. Its impossible trying to make contact with this office and when you do they are incredibly rude to my brother and I. They have not established a timeline as to when we can receive our deposit and are not even willing to work with us after taking our money.

    Genesis Apartments got new management back in December of 2021. Ever since, my financial stability is constantly at risk because the leasing office has been incompetent, disorganized and makes 0 attempts to respond to anyone or resolve issues. Back in April of 2022, I paid my rent of about **** and they lost record and demanding i paid $889 2 weeks later or I would get evicted. I asked them to pull record from the previous management company, who was so kind, and the manager ***** said its not her problem and its up to me to resolve it. Days later, when she found that I was actually on government assistance through ********** at the time, ***** didnt apologize but said oh.. she didnt have all the records from the last manager and they mustve not given them to her. If you read their ****** reviews, you will see tons and tons of residents say they will NEVER get a return call and nobody answers the phone, although their office is open until 5/5:30 monday-friday. You will also see reviews stating they went through the entire application process with ***** and her team, paid a deposit, and never got a return call, never got shown a single apartment and never got the place they paid for. Please investigate *********************** and her ENTIRE staff. Theres an entire apartment complex suffering because they will not respond to us or help us out. They take our money and ask for more and s**** us all over. Ive gotten 3-4 eviction notices since ***** and them took over. I think its absolutely necessary to RESPOND TO and RESPECT the residents that are paying your bills and keeping a roof over your head, in order to successfully run a functioning complex. But no, you see people getting evicted and leaving left and right because this complex is horrendously dirty, money hungry, rude, and doesnt take care of their residents.
