- Additional Info:BBB has received a pattern of complaints from consumers alleging non-delivery of items and customers being charged cancellation fees for orders that the business has not been able to deliver in the timeframe advertised and/or promised. Customers have stated that the business indicated that their orders would be received in 8-10 weeks per advertising. However, customers have stated that the actual delivery time for the orders are much later, ranging from 16-23 weeks. Customers that request refunds are charged cancellation fees and are not given full refunds.
In November 2020, BBB contacted Affordable Spa Covers requesting information as to why the business believes the customers are filing the complaints, and what actions the business has taken to help eliminate the causes of complaints.
In December 2020, the business responded to BBB stating, in part:
Our terms & conditions are in plain site. You must agree to the terms & conditions or the system will not allow you to advance on to the final payment page.
Things are taking longer for sure. These are custom made, by hand spa covers. We are doing our best, but it is taking a while. I would say that's it. - Additional Info:Mr. Alejandro Flores-Ramirez, President of Affordable Spa Covers, Inc., is also listed as the President of Coverlex Inc.
