    Our roof was installed on February 1, 2016 by Merillat Roofing of **********, *******. Tamko Peel and Stick underlayment was used.WARRANTY: 10 year warranty workmanship and labor warranty for shingles and 5 years of flat roof. Questions: 1.What specific Tamko underlayment product was used? (**** from Merillat exposed the underlayment to ascertain this information.)2.What is Merillat going to do to rectify this faulty situation and in what timeframe?3.WHAT DID THE ***** *** TELL ***** LAST WEEK WHEN THEY CALLED HIM? 4.We cannot be told for over three weeks that you are investigating with your *************** is a full knowledge situation with many class action lawsuits pending or in arbitration. Another suggestion was made by ***** was to put cardboard above our air handler which is not a satisfactory ********* HOMEOWNERS WE NEED SPECIFIC ANSWERS TO RECIFY THIS SITUATION. Heres what needs to be done:Roof replacement and tar cleanup. We want to be made whole.

    We have been in contacted with Ms. ********** We did explain to her that this was a product defect and would be covered by Tamko. We had a hard time getting them to respond to us. We did finally did get a response, and they told us that she would have to work with them directly and file a claim with them directly. We have stopped using this product due to the late response that we were given. However, this is out of our hands and there is not a way to get around this matter. I am so sorry that Ms. ******** had less than the perfect expected results.

    I am rejecting this response because: I was contacted by a ***** (underlayment manufacturer) sales rep. ** directed me to the Tamko complaint sight. I then filled out the warranty complaint for last Friday. I was told to allow two days for a response.  To date, I have not received any communication back from Tamko.  This does not rectify the situation in any way-just adds more "to do" from me as a customer of **********************. 

    ***** with Merillat has called me -not to help but to request removal of a social media comment I made that was not as favorable as he would like. I told him when steps are taken to rectify the situation, I will remove the comment. However, to date, nothing has been done.
