The initial pitch for the job had me believing I had made a good choice. However, I quickly learned that Imperial Tile and, moreover, its owner, Mike, do not operate in good faith. This job was supposed to be 2-3 weeks, but it is now sitting at 12 weeks and is only 50% complete. Shortly after signing the contract and paying the 50% non-refundable deposit, Mike returned to me before any work was started and asked for 20% more money; this is above the original contract price because he felt the floor would require additional leveling. This was upsetting because he saw the floor twice before we signed the contract. No mention that it was not in line with his original bid that the contract is based on. I did not change the scope of the work, but he would not start the job without the additional money, and we had already given $10K, which was nonrefundable. It soon became clear that the company had money management trouble. Mike would state that a supplier did not have the product and wouldn't have it for 2 weeks. I confirmed with the supplier there was plenty available. It is clear that Imperial Tile did not have the money to purchase the materials needed to keep the project moving. Promises for material delivery were made and broken multiple times. Most recently, I discovered that the subcontractor Imperial Tile hired to install the tile still has not been paid. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I strongly suggest avoiding Imperial Tile. Very dissatisfied.

Trustworthy Skilled Artisans. Imperial Tile came in after we had to stop the original installers after they broke our kitchen counter and did a horrible job on the tile that was installed. ***** crew came in demoed that work repaired the damage to the wall and did a beautiful job on our kitchen backsplash and wine bar. All while we were out of town. Which was scary considering our original experience. They did exactly what they said discovered damage we did not know about behind the other tile made the repairs and even took care of our dog while they were working. It was the best experience we have had with a contractor. Cant say enough about how much we appreciate the work they did. The wine bar tile required a lot of cuts and ****** took so much pride in the work he did. Our home is beautiful. Imperial Tile does not disappoint.
