            Date of transaction: April 3 2023, 5:45 pm. Transaction number: ****** Charged: 99$ total Service rendered: Dental cleaning. Charged co-pay 79$, as per my insurance I owed 0$ (current dispute)Supplies purchased: mouthwash. Charged 20$ - no dispute. No response from business/office manager after several messages left in office with ********************* sent. Details:Ive been trying to reach the office manager of South Dade Family Dentistry (*******) since my last visit in April, have left several messages with receptionists *** and ****** over the last several months and have yet to receive a call back from *******, nor have I been able to get through to her the many times *** called. Each time, Im informed that she is not in and to call back or that she will call me back, which hasnt happened. My concern is that after my last appointment in April for a cleaning, I was charged 99$ for the cleaning and a mouthwash. The mouthwash costs 20$ so when they told me of this charge, I asked if the copay they were charging me was correct, as I didnt think I had a co-pay for cleanings. The receptionist assured me that I did have a co-pay and that she was charging me the correct amount, so I paid it. However, upon speaking with my insurance company after the visit I was informed that I do not owe a co-pay for cleanings. Id like to discuss why I was charged 79$ for a copay I didnt owe and to reach some sort of resolution, such as a refund to the card I paid with.

            The business contacted me the day after the complaint was submitted and offered a partial refund, but only if I withdraw my complaint from the BBB.
