When considering a project as large and financially significant as upgrading to hurricane impact windows and doors, it is important to measure twice and cut once. Do your due diligence to familiarize yourself with the market so you know exactly what you are getting yourself into and how much you should spend for your project. My experience with Locktight was not perfect, but seldomly do we find anything in life that is. With that said, we received a quality product with a quality installation, that successfully passed the city inspection. We would be happy to work with the company again in the future.

He made sure I felt confident in my decision, and I truly appreciated his professionalism. The installation team was just as impressive—they worked efficiently, covered everything with plastic to protect my home, and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. I received multiple quotes before deciding, and while Locktight wasn’t the cheapest or the most expensive, it was definitely the right choice. The quality of work and attention to detail made it well worth it. Highly recommend Locktight and Austin if you’re considering impact windows!

Do not use Lock Tight, please search for real reviews. ***** **** will call you on the first day of installation to offer you $250 for positive reviews on selected websites like this one. They make you go through a link that filters out any honest reviews. Please wait till the work is completed to review them, you will be surprised at how disorganized they ****** took more than 7 months from signing the contract to complete three sliding doors and a small window. Everything they promised along the way was inaccurate, we didnt even pass inspection from the city which means, of course, they didnt know what they were doing. They also promised to take care of permits with the *** but submitted incomplete paperwork and I had to do it myself to move things along. Everything will take longer and your house will be a mess for more than half a year if you use them. The 2 men crew that came on the first day were great, they seemed to know what they were doing and were careful with dust. That would be the only day I saw them, another crew came on the second day and it was a disaster. They didnt even have plastic sheets to cover anything from dust! They had to wait a few hours for someone to bring the covers. They ended up staying til 10pm and everything was covered in dust anyway. Plus, their caulking work was unprofessional. I had to call multiple times to get the screens installed (included on the contract). If you need them for anything, like fixing a loose handle, be prepared to wait for a couple of weeks. **** was completely unhelpful and according to him he is the boss of the installation manager that was helping me. Also, according to the Lock tight painters that came for the final step, the caulking on the outside is so bad they couldnt paint straight lines.. There were more issues that I dont have time getting into, do yourself a favor and read real reviews from **** and avoid this company.

LockTight installed 24 windows, 6 French doors, and a set of sliding glass doors in two days. Their installation crew was great! They exceeded all expectations in every area of the job. They were fast, communicative, talented, friendly and punctual. The sales and administrative personnel were attentive and helpful throughout the project as well.We are very happy with the quality of the impact windows and doors.
