On May 25, 2022 an invoice was sent for $13,500 for full reconstruction of my pool. It included diamondbrite, replacement of tile, replacement of heater and pumps. A down payment was paid on May 26, 2022 for $10,000 and an additional payment of $2,100 was paid on June 1, 2022 for coping. The only work that was done was the old bricks were removed, but left on the property. The water pumps were replaced, but the old pump was left on the property. The owner promised over and over again that technicians were coming to finish the tile and start the coping process. We also complained of some of the tiles being crooked. He promised on two different occasions on starting in July and then in August and he never showed, he didn't answer his phone, and then would call days later. Not only was the work not completed, other companies since have said the work was done incorrectly. If I could request for my full refund plus the damages I would, but I would like a full refund of $12,100.

I was supposed to get a patio and walkway installed, 700 sq of pavers. The owner was given the money. He ordered the bricks, and completed the permit application. However, the job was never done and the bricks were not received. The bricks were to be stored at the company. However, it was found the bricks were refunded at the money for them was taken by the company.

******* resurfaced my pool and gave me an initial quote on April 28th, 2022 of $3600 for everything. I agreed and paid right away. He then sent his crew who completely drained my pool. He then texted me on May 2nd, 2022 and upped the price by $1250 and told me i was getting a warranty and tiles if i paid that. The pool was already drained so i didn't have much of a choice. So once again, I agreed. He also replaced my pool pump and charged me $1,330 on April 25th, 2022. Fast forward to a month ago, this property is used as an Airbnb for us. We had 3-4 complaints about the pool being dirty, a leak in the steps that was draining the pool water, was told our pool pump was installed completely incorrect and the biggest shock of all is that he resurfaced our fiberglass pool with Diamondbrite! No reputable pool company would dream of doing this knowing the amount of complications you will have down the road. We are now being told there is no way to reverse this and no pool companies will even touch this as it is such a liability. We would have to completely remove the pool to replace. The quote for this was $55k. We were promised a warranty for the pool filter and Diamondbrite ( I have both invoices stating there is a warranty). We called Diamondbrite manufacturing directly and they let us know that under no circumstance would they offer a warranty for Diamondbrite over a fiberglass pool. We are now looking at a $55k repair after already spending over $6k to replace the filter and resurface the pool. Neither was done correctly. We were lied to and taken advantage of. There are countless reviews on Yelp about him scamming others out of money. It seems to be a theme. I have all text messages and spoke with over 4 pool companies stating the same thing. ******* has not been communicative and states that its the chemicals ruining the pool. He refuses to provide a refund for his work. If there are any options to help get this resolved it would be greatly appreciated!
