    In April 2024, I purchased a vehicle through the dealership. Three days later, the engine light cut on and it had to be repaired. About two weeks after that, when I was getting ready to head to work, the car wasnt working again, but for a different problem. It took about a week for them to come pick up the car and to repair it. on May 16, I picked up the car again thinking that it was fully repaired. on May 19, the car broke down again while I was far away from home with the same issue. The dealership just keeps telling me to let them repair the car again and when I ask, what were my options as far as just returning the car, they let me know that there is no refund, Ive had the car for only a month. Ive driven it only a total of two weeks. I do not want the vehicle anymore and I refuse to pay a cardinal and insurance on a vehicle Ive driven for two weeks. This is unacceptable.

    On 2/25 we bought a used car from this person working for Deerfield Automall. The business was conducted at his apartment garage parking. He posted the car on his FB page that its in excellent condition and all that. We test drive it. Ask questions about engine and battery and all, he claimed that everything was changed and good. Just the oil change needed to be done. We drove the car home the next night. Close to home, the lights on the dashboard came on. I contacted him the next morning saying this was not right and hoping he would take responsibility for it. He told us to bring the car to his mechanic in Deerfield which we couldnt until that Saturday since we work all week. The car was at the mechanic for days. We kept checking on it everyday but he kept saying the wrong part was ordered, etc. We did our own diagnostic test and the issues were not major so we took it home to fix it since we needed a car. My husband used the car the next day to pick up our baby and close to home, the brake stopped working. I contacted him again this time hoping to give the car back because it didnt meet up the expectation. So many problems with it. He refused. He said he had a specialized mechanic to fix it and he would pay half the cost. Our mechanic estimated $1800 for part. His said $700. We picked up the car after couple days. The brake light went on again. Texted him and he said he was trying to help and that he is done here and stopped responding. Our mechanic said that it was a used part and the only way is to put new one in for safety. The guys mechanic didnt know any of this. He said the guy was the one who ordered the part. Seemed like he intentionally did that to us. My husband was on the highway with the car and the accelerator stopped working. Thank god he was close to a stop area to pull in. And this all happened within a month or so. 2 major mechanical issues. I have asked for the document of the transaction and he failed to provide
