    BBB On 06/28/2024, the HVAC technician that I hired, made a warranty exchange for a Rheem ac unit blower motor at Gemaire Distributors! After installing the motor at my home the technician discovered that the motor did not work! After several attempts to start the motor, the technician placed a phone call to the company, and was then notified that the motor had not been programmed! This was very unfortunate news for the technician and a huge inconvenience for my family! The company made mention that they would be closing soon. At this point, we asked for them to stay open and wait for us to make the exchange, since it was not our mistake! The company was hesitant, but eventually decided to stay open and wait for the technician to arrive with the motor! Upon arrival the technician gave the motor to the company at which point the company determined that something was wrong with the motor! It appears that the company knew it was defective to begin with! They then provided a universal motor to the technician, in which the color coding for the wiring harness did not match up! At this point, the company was closed for the weekend, leaving my family and I to sit in the heat all weekend with no AC!On 07/01/2024 The technician returned the motor to the company and they ensured him that they would have the right motor overnighted! As of COB on 07/02/2024 we still haven't received the new motor and still sitting in the hot, humid Houston heat with no AC! This company's unprofessional practices is a great disservice to their customers!

    On8/26/2022, Ibought a new Air Conditioning unit from ****** ************ registered under ***********************; EIN #**-2291672; the address is ******************************************************** for $5,400.00 (Invoice #******) with one year of free labor, attached copy.(Rheem, with serial #**********, model #RH1T4821STANJA), attached find the Certificate Warranty Confirmation. Unfortunately, on 2/6/2022 the ** unit stopped working. I texted **************** so he can pass by to inspect the unit. **************** examined the ** unit and the diagnostic was to replace the Coil. **************** explained that he need to contact Gemaire Distributors located at *****************************************************, and ****** *********** **** Registered under *******************, AYHAM; EIN #**-2588663; the address is *********************************************************, to order the Coil, because he does not have a license and it will cost an additional $250.00 to process the Warranty. The service was inadequatebecause(is performing jobs with no license and Deplus is selling to individuals with no licenses). I am disappointed because(****** ************ couldn't process the warranty claim because he's not a licensed contractor as he stated. ****** *********** told me that Deplus and H343535343537343**5H were unable to process the warranty and that I need to contact another contractor with a license to fix my issue. I explained to **************** that is not fair that I need to reach out to someone else, because I will have to pay for someone else to come out to my property to inspect the unit and perform the labor after they received the Coil. RESOLUTION: It's evident that the companies originally involved ****** ***********, Deplus, and H343535343537343**5H, are conducting illegal business with unlicensed individuals that do not have an HV** license to buy or install Air Conditioning Units. This is a Federal Crime and is not fair for consumers like me, a single mom with two *********, to be treated this way because all they care about is getting paid without thinking that in the future something like this situation can happen and only a licensed contractor can handle it. I urge you to please investigate these companies for illegally conducting and scamming customers like myself and refund me $800.00. Enclosed is proof of payments I made to **********************. I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem and will wait for your prompt response before seeking help from a consumer protection agency or the Better Business Bureau.
