06/22/24 $380 I went into the salon to get a copper with blonde highlights. I came it with black and gray and red in my hair. After the stylist was finished, she asked me if i liked it, I responded with it is dark and no copper in there she said it will lighten up after a couple washes. I then paid because i felt pressured to and after making it clear i was not happy after i paid i later called that same day asking for a refund. They refused over a solution that would fix nothing and then argued with me and belittled me and my finance. I was in tears, she then argued with me over a picture the stylist took i then stated this doesnt look like the picture i showed the stylist and she blocked me. Wont return my phone calls and will not return any of my calls. Even left voice mails. They are very unprofessional they slander everyone who does not like the service they receive especially when its incorrect.

    Business response

    07/25/2024

On June 22, *************************** received a service at Sepulveda Hair Studio. She was quoted the price of the service before she received it and agreed to proceed we went on with the service quoted at $340. While my stylist worked on ****************** for 4+ hours  she kept saying how she has only been blonde and making my stylist weary of the colors they agreed upon in the consultation. The  consultation lasted at least 25 minutes with my stylist and ****************** agreed upon the darkness of the shades of brown/red we put on her head and they agrred she wanted more of a brown than a red, with two other hairstylists and two other clients that can testify to this as factual.  ****** said her hair was the change she needed. She did comment how it was a little dark but reminder she was mentioning the entire time how she had ONLY been blonde. My stylist worked diligently and professionally with this client the entire time. After the service *************************** paid $340 just as she was quoted and went on to tip my stylist $40. An hour after the service ended Ms. ******** fianc called the salon demanding a refund and on our web site it states our policy of  All ******* and Product Purchases are Final.  My stylist tried to kindly explain she cannot refund ****************** but we could most definitely have her come in and  we could change anything she wanted but response was with some unnecessary  grammar(cursing and berating)! This is one of the reasons we dont give money back because its our policy and we offered to redo. We even offered someone else to do too, she bad mouthed the whole salon not allowing even myself to go over it with 25 years of salon experience thats when I questioned her motives. ****** just joined our team after four years in a salon and 4 years as professor of cosmetology educating students with these services and how to consult with a client on services and deal with these kind of issues. Over the last month ****************** and multiple others sent by her including her fiance and sister has gone onto social media and multiple platforms to spread false information and slander my business and my stylist. My stylist then reached out to ****** via ******** messenger to which ****************** just wanted to be very rude and berate my stylist even further and salon continuously. As a business owner we have our policies set to protect us from situations just like this. I have documents here in conversation  which ****** did not block her but responded with an apology but this lady responds with very noncommunicable aggressive words. Her, her fiance, her sister, and her friends have went on google/******** and wrote reviews about my salon trying to lower our high review score saying not to come here and that we and family members wrote our reviews which is not true. They are legitimate reviews from our clients.
