I bought a 2018 Tesla Model 3 from Park Toyota on 09/01/24 for ******** The car shut off on Tuesday 09/03/24 and i called Parks Toyota and spoke with salesman ****** ****** and he stated that there is nothing they could do since i purchased the vehicle already. I advised that the warranty they sold me for $5000.00 is worthless because ***** will not accept 3rd party warranty. I have been trying to get some help and everyone there is refusing to help. I lost a day at work and i had to pay for a rental since they don't want to give me a loaner as well. I need help in resolving this issue please. I have reached out to the General Sales Manager *** ********, Finance Manager ***** ******* and no one is returning calls or available. I went to the dealer to try to get help, and no one is willing to help.Review from Timothy H

Buyer beware: The prices Parks Toyota of DeLand advertises online are LIES!I went in yesterday to see a car advertised at ******. The salesman, *************************, let me test drive two different cars. Throughout the experience he reiterated multiple times that he aimed to be straightforward and transparent in his pricing, and that his goal was to be within the top two percent of best prices on their vehicles. He also explained to me about the stores Parks Plus benefit package, which includes things like roadside assistance, headlight refreshing, and other little services, and that Parks Plus was included in the price of the vehicle at no extra charge. And theres the lie. When we sat down to run the numbers, the car I wanted jumped from $****** to $24,896. Taxes, tag and government fees only accounted for $1863, so where did the other $4000+ dollars come from?Parks Plus and dealer fees; thats Parks Plus is NOT included in the price of the car. Parks Toyota of DeLand tacked on an extra $2,995 PLUS a dealer fee of $1,039.90. When I asked ***** to remove Parks Plus I was told that cant be done.I went in to see a car advertised at $18,995 only to be toldafter almost two hoursthat the ACTUAL price before standard tax, tags and feeswas really $21,993.Parks Toyota of DeLand is exactly the type of dealership that gives car dealers the terrible reputation as sharks and liars so many consumers hold. They are bait-and-switch masters who make lying the basis of their sales strategy.Run fast from Parks Toyota of DeLand and find a dealership with integrity. For more horror stories, check their Yelp reviews. Its pretty obvious why the company hasnt claimed their business on there.Review from Senior Citizen F

Buyer Beware Sales personal added Parks Plus to my invoice without discussing it with **** had never hear of Parks Plus until I saw it added to the bill. The charge was $2,995.00 on a vehicle which costs about 25,000.This up-sale tactic is disturbing and I personally view it as unethical. Some of the services in the Parks Plus Package are not needed and seem to be trying to take advantage of customers like me, older and female. For example, I have my own roadside assist.Review from Jamie G

I purchased a used Range Rover Sport from Parks Toyota, and was told that the vehicle was in great running order and was sold as is with no warranty. While test driving, I made a comment that I did not realize it was a diesel engine which it is not, I said this because it was louder than I expected. The salesman said it was in good running order and had been inspected by the dealership. In the first 10 mins after leaving the dealership the check engine light came on, they said take it to Land Rover, I could not wait so I stopped at a car parts store and had them check the engine code and it ended up being an O2 sensor, I purchased it ($123.00) and replaced it myself in less than 10 mins. they were supposed to send me a check for the cost of the part but never did. Then 2 days later I took it to get an alignment and balance, this is where I had to pay an additional $120.00 to get them to remove and replace the locking lug nuts because the lug key was not in the vehicle, also while there I was informed I would have to spend another $1,200.00 because the brakes only had 10% of life left.A couple weeks later I replaced the rotors and pads, I asked them to look and see if the sound of the engine was normal for a Range Rover, after a diagnostic by a Land Rover certified mechanic, they determined that the timing chain tensioner collapsed and would need to be replaced, $6,500.00. So I am almost $8.000 in repairs. The sales manager basically told me tough luck, that I knew it was an AS IS purchase and that I should have purchased the extended warranty. I explained to him this was a pre-existing issue and that with this being an AS IS purchase they had the responsibility of disclosing all this information, I also mentioned that by getting the extended warranty and claiming this, would have been less than honest considering it was an existing issue.Needless to say, I would never recommend this place and would be extremely cautious if/when doing business with them.Review from Wayne G

I purchased a new Toyota from them on October 28, 2023. We were not happy with the new car, so we traded it in on another new car, a different brand from another dealer. Due to their delay in processing paperwork with the Florida DMV, the FLHSMV sent us a letter stating that I may lose my driving privileges, and they will cancel the tag because we cancelled the insurance on the Toyota that we no longer own, and haven't owned in nearly two months. Multiple attempts by us and the dealer that sold us the new car to replace the Toyota only resulted in excuses from Parks Toyota. This went on for nearly those two months. After the letter from Florida DMV arrived I again loudly complained to them, stating that they have caused me to possibly lose the ability to drive in Florida. Having had very recent heart surgery, I have multiple doctor appointments that I must keep, and therefore must have a valid driver's license. Only then did they process our paperwork enabling the other dealer to transfer our tags to the new car. However, Florida still thinks that we own the Toyota. They have given me the option to turn in either the tags, my driver's license, and/or pay $150 penalty to Florida and reinstate my insurance on a car that I no longer own. Parks has said they have done all that they can do.Review from Alycia B

I purchased a car from here 06/26/2022 and i had it for barely 2 weeks and discovered a roach on my leg in the car also discovered another roach on my center console (07/13/2022). called the dealership and was told i would get a fumigation service free of charge. the next day i got to the dealership no one knew of the situation but it got handled & i handed my car off to one of the managers at 10am. i called at 4:30pm due to the lack of communication got hung up on 3 times and finally spoke to the manager i saw earlier in the morning told me the infestation was so bad the fumigation didn't work the first time. & my car would have to stay over night. couldn't provide an explanation as to why they sold a car with roaches even though it stayed 48 hours to have the car detailed after signing. as a courtesy car they offered me a toyota tacoma which is very different in size to the car i own which is a toyota camry. then after getting upset the manager proceeded to tell me he's ending the call due to the fact that i was angry. which anyone would be driving in a fairly new car with roaches crawling on your legs. the fault is on the dealership & yet they're trying to blame me. i don't eat in the car nor do i park near any trees. i'm a clean person i don't have roaches in my house. they were there previous to me getting the car.
