            The date of the transaction occurred on 07.10.24 and it started with a phone call from a fake person from Discover, stating that my Discover card had been compromised for $1,500 to purchase a cell phone. I'm an elder. They connected me to a person who could assist me. The persons ***** ****** and ****** coerced me into paying $2500 with my Discover card for services I did not want! Mr. ******* whom I was talking to, kept calling me back and told me to lie and say that my car was paid off, when I spoke with ******. Evidently, they were working together. Mr. ******** number was ************ and he said they would get 30% of the money from the bank? I'm not sure whom he was referring to. The other guys name was *** *******. He also stated that I'd only have to pay $150 for 3 months to pay off the $2500, and that they would pay on my Discover card. The nature of the dispute is that I'm on a fixed income, an elder, this was fraud, Sunshine Capital charged my Discover card $2,500 for services I did not want! It was my understanding that; after they paid on my Discover card the $2,500, that all I'd have to pay would be $25 for 18 months. The man's name was ***** ******. I believe that Discover and the Sunshine Capital may be working together? Since my incident, this company has changed their name. I tried disputing this with Discover, but could not find the area to write my dispute. I will be contacting other agencies regarding this unfair situation. I'm very disgruntled about this incident and hope and pray that the Better Business Bureau can assist me in getting this dispute resolved.             Ms. ******, it sounds like you were working with someone representing themselves as us but not us. We have never changed our name in our 4 years of service, never had any employees by those names, and never tell clients to stop paying creditors. We do not have any records of any charges on our own accounts for a client of your name for that amount. We're sorry you had this experience and hope you reach a resolution but please remove this false complaint.
