I returned to Clear Lake Title Company because my first experience with them was simply 'outstanding' during a closing. However, their recent customer service was extremely 'frustrating' and 'poor' to say the least.They were either non-responsive or slow to respond to text messages and phones. This is after several voicemail message requesting a call back or follow-up text messages requesting status or an update on a particular request.I considered yourself fortunate to get a live person, instead of the answering machine, and receive a return phone call or text message within 72 hours. They didn't complete the request in a timely manner. It took three plus weeks for them to produce a two-page fill in the blank [a couple of blanks] form for my review. And, after explaining the submission and recording process for the documents, they failed to provide a final product within the timeframe they stated the process would be completed. They failed to keep their promise to provide documents for review within a specified time frames which was generally to provide the document(s) within a day or so after being requested. It was only after several follow-ups did, they provide the final product. Sadly, they were non-apologetic [displayed no empathy] for multiple processing delays caused by them during the entire process. The actions necessary to complete this simple application and recording process for a new deed ************ Deed] take less than a week to finalize, but we started the process on October 7, 2024, and due to several delays, I didn't receive my new deed until November 18, 2024. I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone who is seeking or requires prompt and immediate attention for service. I will certainly be taking my title company business elsewhere.
