Terrible customer service! I've been waiting over a month and a half to get a RMA to return an alternator they sold me that does not work for my vehicle. Talk to the owner **** several times and he has excuse after excuse. Just send me the label so I can get your alternator back to you!PowerBastards.com Response

Initially, we offered to diagnose your product free of charge if you returned it to us. However, you declined this offer. We also suggested having your alternator tested at a local auto parts store, which would provide a free and unbiased test, but you declined this option as well. To further support you, we even sent a replacement product at no cost. This purchase is outside of our 30-day return window, which was clearly communicated on our website, during checkout, and within the packaging you received. Your purchase was made 8 months ago, and unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds beyond our stated return policy. If anyone mistakenly indicated that a refund could be provided, we sincerely apologize for the confusion.We are confident that the product you received is fully functional, as we have thousands of satisfied customers. If you are still experiencing issues, we strongly recommend having your vehicles charging system checked by a qualified mechanic. In our experience, common issues often arise from the battery, connections, belt, or PCM (computer system).As usual, we are here if you wish for us to test your product to ensure it's in 100% working order or as previously suggested to save you time and shipping fees you can have your product test at your local auto parts store for free. Terrible product and non existent customer service. Right from the start I had issues. Pully is smaller than stock and may require different tensioners, which wasn't mentioned in their listing. Also has different size terminal post than stock which requires modifying the post or terminals to fit(again not mentioned anywhere). Immediately after installation it started whining pretty loud at a specific rpm range. Tried loosening and tightening the belt but it didn't change anything. Its also overcharging into the 15volt range which can be dangerous for the battery. Reached out to them through email and the chat option on their site but never got an email back, and after explaining my issue through chat they just stopped responding. Tried calling 3 or 4 times but just kept going to voicemail.Review from Gerard R

They are fake chines made alternators. I brought mine to get rebuilt here in *********. The company notified me that morning I didn't have a 250 amp alternator, but a Chinese knockoff according to the serial number which started with "B". If you look at your product it will not have a name brand on it or any mrkings of who made it. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!PowerBastards.com Response

Powerbastards alternator as a business is no less then a ripoff , bought an alternator that worked for less than 100 mls ,then tried to contact **** and got the run around over and over . WARNING ?? POWERBASTARD PRODUCTS HAVE NO WARRANTY !!And Marks business practices are less than acceptable. Buy from a reputable company that answers the phone and backs they're products !I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT DEALING WITH POWERBASTARDS ??Review from IAN B

I've had my PowerBastards 250 amp alternator now for about 3.5 years. To date it has functioned perfectly, with ********** staying between 13 and 14 volts. The only time it dips below is at idle when I have all my offroad lights on with both radiator fans and oil cooler fans running at high speed and headlights on bright; basically everything that can be on is on and then it only dips to about **** volts. I'm a satisfied customer and would recommend them based on my positive experience. YMMVReview from Kevin W

The guy is very rude I bought 2 alternators. They're both doing the same thing do not buy from this place. They don't last maybe a year before your warranty.PowerBastards.com Response

Wanted a alternator built to 150 amps. There internet page shows thay do custom jobs. When i ask mike he kept referring me to what they offer. This company seems unsure of what they offer. After reading these reviews ive decided to spend my hard earned $$ elsewhere being they charge restock and shipping on buyer and aren't truefull to there website.PowerBastards.com Response

Buyers beware!!!!!! I wish I would've read these reviews before I ordered. These alternators are no good and are not as advertised. Also didn't send the pulley that I ordered with the system and after 3 phone calls and 3 promises to send the correct pulley still nothing. Please stay away. Hi Robert, Did we sent the incorrect pulley on your order from 10/12/2022? Yes we did. Mistakes happen and we fix them quickly. We promptly shipped you a replacement and even told you to keep the extra part in error, in case you upgrade in the future. We have no further communications with you regarding any claims of the product not working correctly. I can also find no record of your alleged phone calls. This guy Mike "alleged owner" exudes horrible customer service, ***********! I purchased a high output alt, mind u it had been nearly a year since purchasing it, totally on me for waiting so long to install it. Once opening it realized it was the wrong part, emailed to inform him and got the **** treatment, can't take it back of course. I have a 3.6 and was sent a 2.4 liter for my buick, dnt knw how they screwed that up, but I'm out of $400+. I mean the alt was still brand new, just took it out of the packaging and never installed it. And I guess the fact that I had a 1 yr warranty didn't matter because it needed to be "defective" before it could be returned. So you'll except a "used" defective one over one that hasn't even been installed, back and forth with this guy to no avail. And then advised me to sell mine and he would offer me a discount on another, the *** I would give u another dime of my money. Worst customer service experience ever!
