Response to BBB Complaint Perfect Trades LLC
    To Whom It May Concern,
I appreciate the opportunity to respond to the complaint filed by **** from Temp Control **** regarding the outstanding payment on the **** work performed for our project.
We have already paid 50% of the contract total, as shown in the attached documentation. Specifically, a payment of $5,840 was made on July 10, 2024, which constitutes half of the agreed-upon contract value of $11,680. This payment reflects our commitment to honoring the terms of the agreement as the work progressed.
The reason for withholding the final payment is due to significant issues reported by the client, which include:
Performance Deficiencies: The client has expressed dissatisfaction, noting that their bedroom is not receiving adequate cooling. Additionally, there are missing vents in areas where they were specified in the project plans. **** installations are required to comply with building codes and follow energy calculations to ensure proper airflow and system performance. These requirements were not met, resulting in substandard performance.
Breach of Contract: Temp Control ****s agreement included a charge for the installation of the ductwork system and modifications to connect it to the existing ductwork. Given the reported issues and failure to meet the specified energy calculations, Temp Control **** did not fulfill the contractual obligations. This constitutes a breach on their part, as the delivered work did not adhere to the agreed-upon standards or comply with building code requirements.
We want to emphasize that we have every intention of paying the remaining balance. However, since the work was not completed properly from the beginning, we will need to have a third-party evaluate the work to ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards before releasing the final payment.
I look forward to resolving this matter amicably with Temp Control ****.

    Sincerely,
    ********* *********
