Before paying for DVCHECK services i was offered $3500 by Allstate for my diminished value claim. After hiring DVCHECK and submitting their evidence showing est of $7300 dv they were unsuccessful in getting me a dollar more than my initial offer. They won’t refund because they say i was offered something in which i already had the offer before even using their service. I’ve wasted my money using this service. The insurance companies can careless about evidence of the market value which is all the DVCHECK provides. Waste of $400

Jim and Hannah helped a ton. I was initially offered $9000 for my 2019 Camry that was considered totaled by insurance company. Jim told me about the Appraisal clause. I hired Jim as my car appraiser. In October,2024 I had an auto accident when another car rearended me. At the time I had only purchased my car 3 months prior to the accident and the damage to it was in excess of $7500! I proceeded to hire DVCheck to develop a legitimate detailed appraisal of the amount of lost value of my car due the accident and was very impressed with the evaluation and supporting detail they provided to me. Their appraiser has extensive experience in this specialized area of claim handling and was a key reason i hired them instead of several other companies which offer this service. The amount of DV estimated by DVCheck was $6714 and was significantly more than two other companies i received an estimate from. I proceeded to send the 3rd party's insurer my DV settlement demand with a copy of DV's appraisal and in the course of 2 weeks was able to settle it for a very acceptable amount . I have a lot of experience with automobile insurance and evaluation methods they use and found that the money I spent for DV's service and the accurate detail of their recommendation was a critical element in achieving an excellent settlement in excess of $6000.DVCHECK, LLC Response

Last month on my way to office I hit a Deer, and my insurance declared it as total loss. My insurance apprised my car value as 21k, but I dint agree and its 2 years old car. I searched online and got the comparable list and shared with insurance with 24k value but their appraiser from CCC rejected it. Then I contacted DVCHECK for independent appraiser valuation for my car. Initially I was little bit hesitant to invoke appraisal clause but Jonathan from DV CHECK explained the process. I received Appraisal valuation report from JIM MARSHALL(DVCHECK) and I shared with Insurance. JIM negotiated with Insurance appraiser and finalized the car value to 24550 which 3k more than initial value. I really thank JIM Marsal for all his help.DVCHECK, LLC Response

Two months after buying a brand new car, someone swerved into my lane head on. It was able to be repaired but of course now it isn’t worth as much. I wasn’t getting anywhere with the insurance company on my own. The money back guarantee is what helped make my decision. Then when they sent me the proposal to send to the insurance company, I felt confident that I would get some kind of compensation. It took two rounds of back and forth but they walked me through everything I needed to do. I’m satisfied with my outcome and would definitely use this company if I am ever in this situation again. My 23 Charger Hellcat was rear ended and Jim and his team did an incredible job throughout the whole diminished value process. They were able to negotiate a much higher amount than what the insurance at fault originally offered and the team was very professional and informative during the process. On my intake call, they said they would "go to bat for me" against other insurance groups. Once I paid, and I tried to get them to speak to the other insurance company, they then told me they can't speak to the other insurance parties, despite what was told to me on the intake call. This was one of the main reasons I wanted to use them. They also are not as versed in state law as they claim to be. They told me that if the DV claim didn't go through with the at fault company, my insurance must pick up the difference and pay me first. After months of fighting with my insurance company, I called the state insurance commissioner and they told me, no, my insurance company does not have to pick up the difference. They have not made the process any easier, and I already had started a DV claim with the other party's group when I started working with them, hoping to get more out of the process. They were of no help and a waste of money at this point. I would love to get a refund.DVCHECK, LLC Response

Our records indicate that the insurance company had offered you $1,863 and then ran out of policy limit. When the damages exceed the policy limit, legal action against the other driver is another possible step. In North Carolina, we are able to negotiate with the independent appraiser hired by the at-fault company, however, this wasn’t an option on your claim due to the policy limits issue. Our money-back guarantee pertains to situations where the settlement is less than the appraisal fee and doesn’t apply in instances where there’s an $1,863 offer in place.
