    We booked through ********* for a stay on 05/04/2024 - 05/05/2024. As soon as we checked in and got to our room, there was a lizard in the bathroom, holes in the bathroom walls, pubic hairs in the bed sheets and small black bug type critters in the bed sheets as well. Our bed sheets and bed spread also had stains all over it. We immediately went back to the front desk to request a cancellation and a refund and were given a business card for the hotel manager, Abhi Chauhan. I immediately emailed Abhi as we were told to do by the front desk person to request a full refund. I emailed Abhi three times with no response. I contacted ***** at this time and was told for more than a 50% refund I would have to contact the hotel manager to get approval. I have called them multiple times now and was told that the manager "would not be calling us back and that leaving my number and name is pointless because it didn’t matter, he would not be calling me back." To me, this is poor business and poor management and customer service. I wanted to speak with the hotel manager directly, so I knew I was getting the right information. I have since reached out to ***** to obtain a full refund (once again) and was told that because we didn't cancel within 30 hours (how could we, it was over the weekend and why would we cancel before arriving at the hotel if we had intentions to stay?) Again, never received an email back from Abhi, and I once again e-mailed today. I am in the process of figuring out whatever way to get a full refund, however, what was supposed to be a great weekend for my family and children turned into us having to use our vacation money to reserve another hotel room at a nearby hotel with MUCH BETTER ***** ******* quality and much cleaner rooms. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY here! If I could leave a ZERO star review I would.

    We don’t have a place to stay with our four kids because this place was so disgusting we could not breathe in the room. We walked out and tried to cancel immediately but they claim they are keeping our full fee for a five day stay leaving us with no money to get another place. It was filthy, smelled so strongly our eyes burned and heads ached, the TV would not turn on, the AC was making loud grinding and squealing noises, there were splatters of body fluid on the sink and mirror, people wandering around the parking lot yelling at guests, the front desk was rude and called us liars while lying to us. My wife sat on the bed and started breaking out in hives. I have no idea how this place has not been shut down by the health department. I’ve honestly never seen a place of business in a state this horrid or act this abusively. We either have to sleep in our car or drive home now because these criminals lied about the amenities, accommodations, and pricing only to try to throw us in a filthy room that didn’t even function. Fraud. Pure and simple. This is fraud. The city of Destin really ought to shut this place down, it’s a drag on the entire island.

    Had 3 guests in our room during our stay so chose the room that offered 2 queen beds and one twin bed. The Twin bed only had a fitted sheet over the mattress and no other blankets. Asked the front desk about more sheets and blankets and was told they didn't have any to give me. The night attendant at the front desk even brought me into the laundry room to show me. We had to use the 3 towels in the room to try and stay warm that night. Emailed the manager of the hotel and never heard back from him about this unacceptable service.
