Well were do I start. Reached out on Oct second for appoint get someone to the house for a replacement quote. They finally arrived on Nov fourth (12 days). Ok I get it as things are busy in offseason (Measure person was great by the way is why I wanted to give them a chance and keep it local). Measure person completed his part and mentioned they would get the proposal to me in a few days. Couple of days go by and still no response. Since I was not on site for a business card or contact information for sale person, I emailed multiple times to the info from website and mentioned I did not receive a bid. Also tried to phone couple of times but they are not open on weekend or after 4pm. I texted the person who did the measuring and mentioned I did not get the quote and he said he would let the sales team know. Went for 7+days with no proposal, I had to reach out 6 times. It is never a good thing to have the client chasing responses. What can I expect for installation? I finally called the shop today and asked for the manager to ensure the leadership team understands client expereince. K* asked what it was in regards and I shared with her my frustration. As a resolution, tonight, they finally sent the proposal over and it was more than double the next highest bid and without one of my windows included as a bay window requires something else? Not certain if they did that on purpose for me to go away or if they are really just that high. As a VP of Sales for a large IT company, I know I would not want this expereince for my clients. Hopefully the owners see this and understand this is a serious failure for them. These projects are in the multi-10's of thousands in cost with hurricane windows and I also own a few properties as short term rentals. Not only have your lost a customer, you have also created a negative reference for your business. Remember, there are owner websites with companies who are recommended as well as NOT recommended.
