  On September 23, 2024, I ordered a pair of Detecting Adventures Aqua-Tek brand submersible metal detector headphones for the ** Deus II metal detector. I ordered the headphones from CEO ******* (*****) ********* of Ugly Gear USA located at ***********************************. I purchased the headphones based on Mr. ********** claim that his headphones would support all the audio types produced on the ** Deus II metal detector even though the ** Deus factory headphones only allow Square audio to be played when connected, however, there are also Pitch, High Square, PWM and other tones that can be modulated with different speakers.I paid Mr. ********* $130.00 for the headphones and an additional $6.00 for shipping for a total of $136.00 via Venmo electronic payment platform.On October 2, 2024, I received the headphones and attached them to the ** Deus II metal detector I had purchased them for. The headphones did not play all the audio types on the metal detector, they only allowed the Square tones to be selected, not all the audio types as Mr. ********* had articulated they would when I contacted him regarding the purchase.On October 2, 2024, I contacted Mr. ********* and informed him of the issue and requested a refund. Mr. ********* refused to honor a refund claiming there was nothing wrong with the headphones even though I had only opened the box after taking delivery and connecting them to the metal detector to see if they functioned as he claimed.Florida Title XXXIII Section 501.142(1) requires ***** ********* to provide a refund.I contacted Mr. ********* upon delivery requesting a refund and he refused. ************ operates from within the State of ******* and is a Florida retail business. The headphones were mailed to me originating from:***** ********* ************** Detect America ************************************** I am simply requesting a return and full refund for the headphones in accordance with and required under Florida state law.

     The customer ordered a custom built pair of headphones  to fit a XP metal Detector model Deus 2 ...   The customer asked if the headphones could handle all types of audio waves  which in fact they can ...  any audio wave in the Human Audio wave can be produced through these headphones .....   They were custom built   tested and supplied to the customer .   

      The customer  tried them and complained that there were certain modes on his XP D2 metal detector that the headphones wouldnt work with .   This is Correct ..  THE MANUFACTURER (XP METAL DETECTORS ) limits which operational modes work with the ANY SUBMERSIBLE HEADPHONE .   The Machine ,which is not manufactured by me  ,only allows the best audio possible through the system's submersible mode .     The Headphones will work properly when engaged with XP's system and in fact the customer relayed to me that when engaged in the submersible audio mode , the AQUA-TEK headphones  work perfectly ...   I as a designer and Fabricator cannot build headphones to use outside of the parameters of the Metal Detector's manufacturer . 

  It should be noted that the USER INSTRUCTIONS Clearly state that  submersible headphones can only be used in the Submersible audio mode ..... 

     The customer demanded a refund  on a 100% functional and CUSTOM BUILT set of headphones .....  We are not inclined to custom build electronics that work perfectly  for try-outs .

     The customer  did not read the manual  and if the customer had asked me about the capabilities of any headphones  for use on that machine , I would have informed him ...   We are a builder of SUBMERSIBLE HEADPHONES ...Thats what we build ...we have an exceptional reputation in the ************************* and will not be strong armed by a customer that tries to apply a piece of equipment with specific parameters to a task that they were not designed for .
