I purchased a brand new 325 Conquest Boston Whaler in May of 2023 for $438, 000. The boat was delivered to me with broken and non-functioning mechanical and electronic systems. The poorly engineered network and the Simrad devices that were installed are manufactured by ********************** It took all of last season to get repairs completed by several supporting dealers. These repairs kept the boat out of service for the heart of the entire boating season. Ultimately, Boston Whaler sent a factory technician out to perform an inspection and completion of additional repairs. This summer I had to reprogram the Simrad equipment with the help of a sales **** by telephone, to get system fully operational. Other physical damage remains from the initial delivery and the repairs are outstanding. The owner of the dealership has asked me to just enjoy a boat that most people would love to own. Boston Whaler made offers to add additional electronic devices to ameliorate my displeasure with their boat, which I refused at the time because I did not want to overtax an already faulty system. Additionally, an offer of warranty extension was made by Boston Whaler customer relations. In my frustration, I have put the boat up for sale and when I informed Boston Whaler of my decision, they reneged on any warranty extension as it was only made for the original owner. The dealer has been *************** helpful and have compensated me by storing and allowing me to keep the boat in the slip for this season at no additional cost. I'm still hoping to be compensated by Boston Whaler for the loss of use for last season or a complete repurchase of the boat at original price.

Contacted BW, emailed CS and executives, zero help. A blatant manufacturing defect in a product they sub out for manufacture occurred. This is a safety issue, and they are responsible under federal law.
