We contacted AFNY Specialties about installing our sound audio in our 22 Jeep. We purchased the audio equipment elsewhere that does not do install. My husband installed the audio equipment but could not get it working to its full potential with headunit. **** told us yes they can handle the job how we wanted hooked up to existing head unit. 1st appt with them 6/8. They were to hook up to head unit. They ripped out everything that my husband did because they didnt wanna be responsible with how he had hooked it up. He had told us that one of our amps were insufficient and that we needed to purchase an additional amp through them. We agreed that was fine to get it working correctly but later determined that he had incorrectly hooked it up with a high low converter that is not compatible with the premium system in Jeep. Picked up the vehicle, we were told they were unable to hook up to the headunit and that we would need an additional appt for that. We paid $1470.36. To assist **** due to them not being aware how to hook up to headunit, we spoke to auth installers, was told what we need to be able to hook up to headunit. We purchased the Rockford Fosgate to bring with us to our next appt with **** on 6/26 that the installer agreed upon installing. We also in the meantime purchased additional audio equipment to get installed at this next appt and needed amps moved from under the seat where my husband originally installed due to not being able to lower the seats. **** agreed they would do that additional install as well. The installer even though he knew needed to install the Rockford ******* told us he was going to do a different way. Picked up the Jeep, still was not hooked to headunit. Paid them $1988.03. Needed another appt. Dropped it off 8/1. Appt was to install to headunit and swap out amp they damaged prev appt. Bottom line we need audio hooked up to headunit, as agreed upon and they cant after 3 appts with no refunds. We have to pay someone else now.
