    We have had been customers of Calkins Gas LP, for over 15 years, and never had a problem before. When we chose Calkins to supply LP gas for our generator, we were told 'OUR Customers always come first and never runout of fuel' When our tank ran out of gas and I called Calkins, they told me they were servicing customers over 1 year first, not true. They delivered LP gas to the *** hardware (**** gallons) only 5 minutes from us 3 days in a row, but none to us. When they did fill our tank, I promptly paid the bill. Shortly after the tank was filled, a worker at our home smelled gas and we checked the tank. You could see fumes from tank valves. We rent the tank from Calkins, so I called them and they sent out a service tech to fix the immediately, who fixed the broken part. With the fault in THEIR equipment, my tank is now empty and it is now 4 WEEKS that they have not been back to fill the tank. Each time I call them, I get the run around, excuses and lies, because they do not want to refill the tank with fuel lost due to their equipment failure. They (****) told me they have to get approval to refill my tank for free to replace the lost fuel, but when I ask who has to give that approval, she said 'I DO'? Apparently they have no respect for the safety and welfare of their customers. My husband is a handicap veteran in a ******/wheelchair for 13 years and navigating in the dark is dangerous. If we lose power, with no generator fuel to light the house, he would be in danger of falling. I now understand why Calkins is not credited by BBB.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    Calkins (****) has not contacted me since their reply.  We live in ************** and per Calkins, tank fills in ************** is done on Wednesdays.  Their reply was on Monday 12/5/2022, it is now Saturday 12/10/2022 and our tank has not been filled (which according to Calkins) should have been scheduled for Wednesday 12/7/2022.    Another week without fuel for our generator.  Should we have a night time power outage, we would have no power, which would put my disabled veteran husband (in a ******) in extreme danger to have to move in the dark.

    **** at Calkins is being spiteful to a 15 year customer,  because of my frequent calls, which speaks  volumes for the reputation of the company. All I am asking them for is to take care of a problem created due to their defective equipement.

    It has been 5 months since I requested that Calkins relocate their gas tank on my property, they are refusing to do so. Late January they scheduled an appointment to come look at my property on March 2nd to see where they can move it to, the location they suggested was outside my gated property. I told them it needed to stay inside the gate - they told me they would get a tech out there to move it. Next week will make 3 months, they still have not called or taking any initiative to come move it. Their constant excuse everytime I call is they are short of staff - where almost 6 months after my initial request - they still can't get it done. I can't help it to feel they are ************ me with a bunch of nonsense. At this point, I don't feel they have any intention to come move the tank. I think they are stringing me along and just hope I give up about moving the tank so it could stay where THEY want it, not where I want it. Their last rep even asked why I wanted it move after so long. I want the tanks moved asap,
