We hopped around to different locations for our trip and this was our last stop. By far the worst hotel I have ever been to. When we got to the room, I made a cup of coffee & there were bugs in it. I opened the coffee maker & about 20+ baby ROACHES crawled out of the coffee machine and all over the table. The room was filthy and there was BLOOD spatter on the wall, lamp and mirror. Staff was less than accommodating and no manager on site most of the day! We made a complaint at 1:45pm. The only manager that was there knew about the situation and said she was coming to the room to check it out... so we waited in the room for her but she never came. Instead, they sent a cleaning lady. I asked where the manager was and they said she left. She dipped out because she was off at 2pm. No manager on site until 6am (after we were long gone) The front desk brushed it off like it was no big deal... No one apologized and they had no more rooms available. Everywhere on Fort Myers Beach was booked up. Our last day of vacation was completely ruined. We did not have a car and were stuck there in that nasty hotel. Roaches were crawling around the room all day/night. We had to be up at 3am to Uber to the airport... we had no where else to go. They eventually refunded our stay after we called when a manager was present but did not have the decency to care or show any compassion. We waited all day for a manager. There was no one in charge on site the rest of our stay. And the front desk said there was nothing they could do but "go in and clean" - They said they were booked for weeks, so I know that they put someone else up in that room after we left. Terrible customer service - DO NOT STAY HERE!!
