It is very rare that I complain about anything, and I try to take into account extenuating circumstances; however, I cannot remain quiet about the apalling service provided by your company. (Right Away Garage ******************* of ***************). This company is advertised as being locally owned and run, professional and efficient, which in my experience is a gross misrepresentation.I am a seasonal resident in ***************, **. Last fall I had a broken spring in my garage door. I called Right Away Garage *******************, and was pleased that they were able to come to do the repair that day. (Nov 1, 2022).The technician, ***, arrived and installed a heavy duty spring, and assured me it should last 10 -20 years, and had a 10 year warantee. I was charged $767.02, which I paid by cheque. I have the invoice to support this.I had to leave ******* urgently in March for *******, ******, due to an illness in the family, so had not been in ******* in six and a half months.I was booked to fly back to *************** on Oct 24, 2023. I received a call from my house watch person . I was told that whatever the tech did, he did not replace the broken spring last Nov with a new one.I reported the situation to Right Away Garage *******************, and was assured that someone from management would be in touch within the next ********************************************** five calls to the business later. In brief, I have the broken old spring, the invoices from both ***************** and the other garage repair company and the proof of warantee for ten years.I have been waiting now for over five weeks for management to contact me. I will be escalating this complaint to the ********************** and ************* if I do not hear from Right Away Garage ******************* of *************** within the next week, to get this situation dealt with.I would appreciate your attenetion to this matter in a timely fashion.****************************** MD Sent from my iPad
