    We called for a quote on a keyless entry for our condo garage. Told $125 plus service charge. Company got here and I asked to see the lock. Was shown a regular (non-keyless) lock and said thats not what we were quoted. *** says our cost for keyless is over $250. Cost us $218 to have a regular lock and key put in when thats not what we were quoted over the phone. We were in a time crunch so had to do it b/c leaving ** for several weeks.

    Hello,my name is ** and I am the ******** be honest with you guys I  saw your complaint with the bbb one hour after my tech did the ****** I am asking what happened with to call to the office and to try to discuss on other solutions??

    plus I try to call you guys to find a better solution for you like 6-7 times to both of your numbers plus texts messages.

    anyway no one forced you to do the job with us,and you could tell my tech that you dont want the service if you didnt like the price or the lock.

    i can offer basic key pad for another 150$ out the door. if you like to do it so  you more then welcome to respond here or to call us directly.

    and for next time my advice is that if  you have any problems with any type of service try to discuss with the business first and you will be surprised with the customer service

    On Monday May 27, 2024 @ approximately 930 am *********************** phone # ************ came to my address ***************** to create a new key and program my the key fob for my 2005 ***** CRV. When he was done he explained that the fob needed a new battery a CR1616 and all would work properly he even started the car. He billed my for $202.34 which came up as SQ Gulf Coast Locksmith. After an hour I got ready to go out and the new key would not start the car. I went to auto zone bought the new CR1616 battery and attempted agin to start the car it didn't work. Call the # ***** gave me and left 2 messages. I then called ***** and they told me.it can be programmed by following the steps on ******** After several hours I called ***** again no answer. ******* the course of the week I have called every day and spoke to many people @ ************ all said the would get back to to fix the issue and none have. At this point i had to use lyft to get to work which charged me $60 a day round trip from work. Yesterday Thursday May 30, 2024 I finally got call back from the people.from the locksmith company telling the would speak.to the tech to Come out and fix the issue. No one ever came nor did any refund my money which was the other option if they couldn't come out and finish programming my car. It is Friday and still have not been able to start my car and still paying Lyft to get to work. This is costing me a lot and I'm very disappointed that no one seems to care that I paid for.a service that was not completed. Please help

    Hi my name is ** and I am from gulf coast locksmith.wr got your job from one of the advertising companies that advertise in your area.when you talk to ****** he explain to you that if its after market alarm so we cant control on that and you told him that its ok you will deal with the alarm and you want us to make the key and program(everything under recording line.
    we can and make the key for you and program it to your car.we paid on the key and the cutting code.i put video over here that show that your after market alarm not let the car to start.at this point we cant help you anymore we did our job and you need mechanic now that will take out the after market alarm from your car that you can start the engine!! Again if it was original alarm so it was easy for us,with after market alarm locksmith technician cant help you.
    again we could but that not our job and we explain it to you more the few times.

    The service tech refused to do what I ask by just locking the existing lock on the door and closing it. The door is no longer in service and I just needed the lock out to a locked position and closed. He refused and grabbed a new lock and replaced the one I had in 3 min. He charged me ****** and refused to leave until paid or take back the lock. He never told me a price nor any other details regarding price. He never gave anyone a chance to ask a question before he stripped off my lock and replaced it. Horrible decision and bad service. Had to get him off site due to guest.

    Customer was told before what Im about to do and that changing the lock is the only option  in order to lock the door cause you cant lock it from the inside only from the outside with a key. ******** could refused but he didnt and he paid for the job. He couldve called us and say something but he chose to write a bad review instead I dont know why .we cant force the customer to do something that he doesnt want to do so I dont know where this complaint came from.we come fast did our job never heard any complaints and suddenly got this complaint here.to bad that thats the way that you choose to deal with service.

    Called on sunday 3/3/24 around 4pm to a locksmith service who sent out gulf coast locksmith. Lady on phone provided a price range of $3-600 for lockout and program of a new fob for 2023 buick encore. technician arrived around 6pm and immediately began work without offering price at all. Programmed a generic non buick key, worked in the end but a cheap verision of what comes with the car. Gets work done swiftly and i’m excited to have a working car again, until i get the “bill” which i can’t comprehend any of the writing or charges but am pressured to pay him so i reluctantly sign and pay the exorbitant $1,242. This is a prime example of a dishonest company taking advantage of a desperate situation. I understand an emergency call may cost a little extra but this is truly unexplainable and not okay. Dishonest locksmith with no explanation of price and shady tactics to immediately begin work so i as a customer am left at their mercy of whatever they want to charge knowing i am stuck to pay.

    I made a phone call to Gulf Coast Locksmith to have them come out to my house to have a key fob made for my Lexus. He told me the price would be $250. I was not home when the locksmith showed up but my wife and granddaughter was. What was made for us was a standard key for $250, not a key fob as per my order on the phone. When I got home and called their business the gentleman said he would resend the locksmith out but there would be an extra charge and the fob part would not be attached to the key. I declined to have him come back at that point. My wife paid with a credit card and the locksmith said he would email a receipt. He never emailed a receipt but mailed one to us. The receipt is for $250 even though they put through on the credit card $250.27. The receipt says new spare key plus program. Being we were never given a receipt because one was mailed to us someone from there location at the bottom of the receipt print my first name where it says customer signature.

    our tech told over the phone that this price was for transponder key not a key fob.we came to your place and make a new transponder with the program,and the 250$ that you paid its for the key that you got.

    you Sir try to dispute the charge and the bank resolve it in our favor and gave us back the money.

    i Dont want you to feel like that and I believe that I already offer you to come and give you new fob with no extra charge and you hung up the the phone on me.just because that I dont want nom of my customers to feel bad with our service I am willing to offer you again the same offer,new key fob with no extra charge.

    The key that was made was a standard key that would not open the door when put into the lock.  The receipt that was left says key fob right on it with your company putting my initials down on the receipt where it says customers signature.  I never hung up on you. You told me you would send the locksmith back out but there would be an extra charge. A resolution to this is to return $75 back to me.

    This has to do with trust on your part this time around.  I hired you to make a key fob and you didnt.  You were paid in full by my wife.  The monies by the credit card were already reversed back to you as per your last response to BBB.  You already have my address because you were here to make a key fob which you didnt.  If you mail me the $75 and it clears the bank I will let BBB know and pull my negative response.

    On August 8th, I calle Gulf Coast locksmith to unlock my car cause I lost my keys, they charge me $600.00 for two sets of keys, that I was told will be mailed to me. Weeks past and I didnt receive a call, or message from them I text the guy who came to do the job he said the key were not ready do to a low stock problem, I waited until August 28, I called the phone number of the business I talk to who identified as the owner he assured me that he was going to take care of the problem and apologize, he told me to wait for his phone call. I also waited 2 day on that call but no luck, so I called the same number on August 31, and the guy who said was the owner told me to meet with him on September 2nd at 12:00 to get my keys I waited that day for two hours nobody show up, I been trying to call and text but no answer.

    The key was out of stock!!
    You got emergency service in the night time and we save you at the time that you had need.you are talking on the second key like spare key its not an emergency,the key that we gave you work perfectly with no any problems,again the dealership charge 600$ on one key only.
    Like I offered you in the email I offer you again we willing to refund you 150$,you need to understand something,service charge and 1 key fob that you got included program and emergency when you lost all your keys so 450$ its super fair price!
    We cant offer you something else because our sub contractor already got hes payment on your job.
    If you agree to the 150$ refund so you can tell us what is your zelle and we will send you the money.
    And by the way all out calls they recorded lines and I can send you that to hear that we told the price of 450$ over the phone before the job on one key fob!!
    One more things per our job information you didnt order the job from us its someone else with a 863 area code.and different name from you.and the job was at 5 pm on August 4 not 8 like you said.

    The spare key you mentioned doesnt work properly, and its falling apart, you are saying that you came to help me at night and its not true, you are not a honest, and I really hope you stop what your doing stealing peoples money. I gave you $600 dollars for a key that doesnt work and you took forever to contact me regarding the keys you were supposed to mail me now you want to make it sound like Im lying I dont accept your offer because is not fair I had to pay someone else to finish the job you started and they didnt take them more than 2 hours to help me.

    I contacted Gulf Coast Locksmith, LLC to create a new key and program it for my 2019 ****** Highlander. He generated a key that could start the car but the key fob does not work. He said something was wrong with my car because he could not get it to pair up. When i mentioned that i am paying for a service he started to get loud about me disrespecting him and his time, that he had to go and that he already wasted enough time with me. he charged the ***************************************************** the ignition and the keyfob does not work. I want my money back.

    I am really sometimes dont understand people like you.

    I already spoke with you twice included today and told you to call me any available time that you have,that we will send you a different tech to fix your problem,and anyway you decide to put complaint with the bbb.

    you agree on appointment on the weekend with another tech to come look and fix your issue,so why do you need to complain if we schedule an appointment?my tech made for you transponder key that does start your car and lock and unlock the door.

    I can offer you one of the two things.

    one way we will come to fix it,or second way we will refund you 50$.

    I paid ** to replace a lock on 11/9/2022. Not sure if he replaced the internal locking system or not. He wanted cash for a discount so I paid $400 for $500 service that took less than an hour. It was an emergency for me, so I paid it. 2 weeks later the lock no longer works. I called him over 10x and he said he will be there in an hour and he just straight up lied. I called 5 days straight and everyday he said he will be there and never does show up. No call back to say something comes up. Just a straight up liar who ripped me off and now I will have to call a different locksmith to replace the lock that I paid $400 for.

    The problem already fixed and the customer was happy and promised to cancel this complaint!!

    by the way we replaced,business lock,business mechanism,turn tumbler for business,and we drill and replace mailbox lock with new keys for the customer.we came after other company that did horrible job and fix everything for the customer.the price was super fair for all the job that we did.we been super busy and it wasnt an emergency so we gave the emergency people the place to be there before.again in the end of the day the customer happy with the service and the price and promised to correct the complaint with the bbb.

    on 9/24 Gulf Coast Locksmith was hired by me to install new dead bolts and k**** along with new key. price was $960.00. after they left we tried locking doors. k**** came off and key was stuck. poor workmanship. and now i can't get ahold of them

    I have a condo in *******. The pin pad batteries died and I needed to have a locksmith come out. I had my manager handle having to find a locksmith. Below is from her:I had called Minute Key Locksmith at 4:13pm on 9/12/2022. As now I understand that company puts the ticket of needing a locksmith on an internet board for a technician. They don't tell you that they hire independent people who are not hired by them. So in part that business should also take of some responsibility. All **** told me is that one of their technicians would be calling. ******* called in 10 minutes and headed over there. He called 2 times before arriving asking if okay if damage to door may happen. I said no, please assess the situation and let me know. He arrived at about 5:10pm. My next tenant stood there waiting to get in for their vacation stay. I called ******* at 5:39pm to see if done he sounded like I was bothering him and he would call when done. After patiently waiting a while I find out from the tenant that ******* couldn't get it done. The time now is 6:55pm. I texted him at 7:58pm. He said he had to leave and get a part. Now the neighbors at the condo starting complaining about the noise. Our tenant now says after waiting 3 hours to get were leaving to get a hotel. I told ******* he needed to stop and I would address the issue in the morning. Apparently he did not. Then the ** of the condo association called about complaints coming in at 8:50pm. Well after I told ******* to stop. ******* then called my tenant said it was done approximately 9:50pm. ******* then texted a picture of the bill of $507. On the head of bill was the name Gulf Coast Locksmith. I called Minute Key. In the morning I called Minute Key and they denied sending him. Attached is the damage he did to the door. When drilling out the old lock should have been sufficient. This bill of $507 will not be paid. The association is making us pay for us to put in a new door!!!

    there is no reason to change the door.

    I dont know on what you complain,we work and didnt got payment and still you complain.
    take the money that you Supposed to pay us and fix the issue with the door,still you will have different between what you need to pay us and fixing the door.

    We ask for permeations to unlock the door.

    its was two phone number that one off them said do what ever you need to open the door for the tenant.the tenant also said I need to go in,that was the only way to go in.

    your bill was 507$ that you didnt pay.
