    In July of this year I went to the Snead Eye Group to start getting cataract surgery. After getting their sales pitch and deliberating on what the doctor said, I cancelled the procedure. They then sent me a bill for over $500. I called them and was informed that the claim was denied because I had not set up co-ordination of benefits. After calls to the billing office and then ********* then the billing office, then ******** and then a third time. I was in on a call where a ******** person talked with the billing office and established that they were using a wrong number for filing. So now a month and half later they have sent me a bill again that's even bigger than the first. I called the billing office again and was told the same feeble story. Again I called ******** and talked with two persons and neither one could find the claim number that I was given or even find a record that any claim had been filed at all. First I am angry that I am getting a bill at all for a procedure that I cancelled and didn't receive. However, to be dunned for an exorbitant amount of money because their billing office seems to be incompetent and cannot file an insurance claim correctly.
