This hotel has roaches, broken phones, sticky floors, molds, and unprofessional staff from manager to staff.

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback. Allow me to apologize on behalf of our hotel for failing to meet your expectations regarding your recent visit. We have an experienced and highly trained, and hospitable staff, and it is unlikely for them to behave in such a manner. We can only assume that there must be some misunderstanding, but we will definitely investigate the matter. When you checked in, we tried to replace the phone in your room, however you declined that offer. We do have a contract with Orkin for preventive pest control to avoid the type of issue this guest is stating. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Our vacation stay at Quality Inn RUINED our vacation and could have cost me my life. This is concerning Quality Inn Choice Hotel 322 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548. My kids and I had reservations there for June 27-July 1st, 2022. They deducted the first night's stay from my card, which was known. I paid CASH on Monday on 6/27/22 on arrival. However, THEY WITHELD $520.80 "ALSO" ON MY DEBIT CARD ......THE WHOLE VACATION! The staff said, "come back later; she's on the phone". I called my bank, there wasn't anything they could do until it posted, which by now, I was overdrawn and charged overdraft fees. The first 3 days, I used cash to pay for food, but we did not get to enjoy our vacation. This is a fraudulent practice! I was not the only one with same issues. Drug were smelled, roaches in room, dirty floor and comforter on arriving, ran out of nasty breakfast, no washcloths. Because my cash was limited, we parked blocks away from Harbor Walk our last night; car got towed, cost $175 cash, I passed out in tow yard, EMS called. I will never return to Quality Inn!!!

Allow me to apologize on behalf of our hotel for failing to meet your expectations regarding your recent visit. It is standard practice with our system that on the day of check in, our system pre-authorizes the credit card that was given at the time of making the reservation. If there is going to be a change of payment method, it is solely the responsibility of the guest to make the hotel aware prior to the day of arrival. In this situation, we were not made aware by this particular guest, in turn the authorization was taken by the system. When paying cash the system doesn't automatically drop the authorization. As soon as we were aware the guest was paying cash, we voided the approval for this pre authorization. At this point it is up to the issuing bank to release the funds back to the guest. As far as the time frame, it varies from bank to bank, anywhere from 3-10 business days. All of this was explained in detail, along with proof was given to the guests. As far as other guests having the same issue, that is not true, they decided to leave early due to the weather and at no time did the guest express any concerns about the hotel, if they did we would have corrected at that time. Therefore this leads us to believe the guest is making false accusations due to other expenses out of the hotel's control. For example, parking in a no parking zone and having your car towed. We actually have 2 people during breakfast, so that breakfast does not run out. However, there could have been a time when they were in the middle of filling up breakfast when a guest came down. We do have a contract with Orkin for preventive pest control to avoid the type of issue this guest is stating. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I did contact Quality Inn in advance and tell them I was paying cash. I only saw one person in breakfast area. He said he would get more waffle mix, didn't come back out. Then it closed.
