    They told me I needed a whole new water treatment system when I in fact did not. Their technician outright lied to me about the problem. He said the whole system needed to be replaced. He said the charcoal filter needed to be replaced as I was using the chlorine too strong. ( I was not) The chlorine jugs stated on the label that the solution was 89% inert ingredients. He still insisted that it was too strong and I had"fried" the charcoal filter. He also could not tell me where the chlorine solution was going as the level was going down in the tank but not getting into the water. He could not explain that at all. He did suggest that I get the water tested and maybe I didn't need the chlorine system after all but his recommendation was to replace the whole system costing $7,300. I left a negative review on ******* a representative from Barrs called me and tried to explain away the "misunderstanding". There was no misundertanding, he just lied to his bosses turning it into a "he said, she said" I called another company. The problem was a clogged injecter on the chlorine and a hole in the tubing feeding into the water supply. Problem solved for $157.00

    *****************, You called and requested to have someone come out and provide you with proposal for a new system. Our sales rep came out on the 21st and provided a free consultation. We were not called out to perform repairs or there would have been a dispatch and diagnostic service fee associated with the visit. When providing a free consultation, we always consider the options of repairing verse replacing with the age of the system and educate our customers of every option available to them. Our sales rep did look over your system and informed you it would be best to get a water test done first to be certain this was the type of system you needed and that we could perform that for you at a cost but his recommendation to replace the system would be the best option with the multiple issues you were experiencing. He did provide you with the proposal you requested. There were no fees associated or collected at the visit and we provided our honest opinion with solutions. Every customer has the right to accept or decline any options presented to them.We did contact you regarding your ****** review and tried to resolve the clear misunderstanding as to you wanting a proposal/free consultation or technician to come diagnose and make repairs and you were very disrespectful to our office staff. Again, we apologize for any confusion and are pleased to hear another company was able to resolve the problems you were having with the water system. Happy Holidays!
