They claim it's five to seven days it's been since December 20th and today is January 6th they use the holidays as an excuse even without the holidays and weekends it's more than 7 days then the lady just calls me and wants to be a smart mouth with me I'm not that person she wants to talk to you like thatBusiness response

Im not sure how you want a response, the *** for the part was 7-10 business days, and yes the holidays delay things. Suppliers close during Christmas and new years for multiple day. The person who called was not smart with you, you were on speaker phone as you were reaming a new one to the scheduler because you wanted an after noon apt and that it was to be 5-7 days and this and that. So we offered and apt for 1/7 and u werent available you asked for 1/9 and we set it for then, which at that point before we could even confirm the appointment you abruptly hung up. We have an appointment for the repairs to get done. A complaint to the BBB was absolutely ridiculous and way out of hand. You have a great rest of your day sir.Initial Complaint

Maytag Washing machine not working properly. Displaying a FL LO message. Since have American Home Shield filed a claim for it in which they sent this company on July 30, Speedy Air & Heat, who they worked with. Technician that came said it was because it was set in higher temperature setting. To lower it and will work fine. I only use the cold water and not hot. Is not even connected to hot water line. The washing machine works fine in all the cycles except the regular cycle. He said he was ordering a valve to play it safe since they go. After technician left it was not working properly as should. This has nothing to do with the valve that they ordered or the setting as was told about. When contacted Speedy Air & Heat about it was told that they won't be sending no technician until the part they ordered arrives. Technician that came documented about the valve and not much of what the problem is it seems. I contacted American Home Shield about this. Also told them that the technician at no point did any diagnostic testing of the machine. Was told they needed to do that. That they were going to reach to the company to scheduled that. Days has gone by and nothing. At the moment Speedy Air & Heat is not answering their phones. ******* returning phone calls by leaving a voicemail. Today is August 12. In conclusion, the technician did not do his job properly as no diagnosis testing of the machine as needed. Now who knows is going to take for that part to arrive. Let's see if ever does since after reading some other reviews about them, they seem to have done this a lot to others and making it months and months of parts not arriving and not getting anything done. Some has said that they ended up paying another company to get it fixed. I would do that too but that is why I have AHS which seems they work mainly with this company. I am back to no washing machine working. This company seems to be very unreliable and does what they want.Business response

Hello, Well, the FL LO message from a washer means the washer is not getting adequate water supply, so would mean enough water is not getting to the machine which is why the error code is showing up. As we advised you when you called, that the machine may not work properly because we have parts on order, but please refrain from using the machine, which at that time you told the young lady "yea right" and hung up the phone. I'm not sure how we aren't answering our phones when we've spoke with you and AHS multiple times on this claim-- and again this morning actually. The technicians diagnosis is proper for the issue you complained of, if you caused further issues to the machine using it while it was not working properly then that is a whole other set of issues that will be addressed at a later time. You can't expect us to fix the machine in one shot if you as the consumer don't do your part and not use the machine when there are parts on order and throwing error codes. The machine is giving the error codes for a reason-- and that reason is the machine is malfunctioning. Your part is due in between now and 8/21 which is what was told when you called in this morning.

I am rejecting this response because:How convenient of you reply to this after you finally answered the phone this mornibg after trying for 2 days.
The machine was not diagnosed. And the error message i know what that means and as stated that the problem was it does not works on only one cycle. Works fine on all the other cycles. Also I explained what technician did originally and what told me to and continue to use the machine. He also said the parts that he ordered were as a precaution and not necessarily the problem.
Is obvious he told me one thing and documented something else.
Wow! How unprofessional response from you. But I am not surprised after reading so many complaints like against your company and you doing whatever you want and not been professional at all.
I will be contacting American Homeshield to let them know about what you are doing and unprofessionalism. And that they don't use you anymore.
Seems is also time to perhaps they send my repair request to deal with a different company.
Sincerely,

At this point, we are going to agree to disagree, you're attacking our technician as well as our company on mis information, and we are not going to continue this back and forth. If you have a concern, please contact the office, or we will call you when the part arrives. Enjoy your day.Customer response

No misinformation at all. Saying it how it is since what was told by the technician and such.
No need to go back and fourth. I am done with you.
Not dealing with your company to get this fixed.
It is been handled by a different company.Initial Complaint

Both my 5yr old Refrigerator and 5yr old dishwasher stopped working about the same time. We have American Home Shield warranty and put in an order for service. Speedy Air & Heat came out and said they would order a new compressor and also pump for dishwasher. Two weeks later the repair man came and we hope replaced the compresser. He said he didn't have the pump with him. Before he left I asked him why there was no indication of the compresser working. He left rather quickly and said give it 24 to 58 hrs to cool. The next day we called the company and told them the temp in the fridge was 74 degrees and never started cooling. We asked if they could fit us in asap. The lady on the phone became extremely irate and told us it wasn't even 48 hours yet. She became abusive on the phone. Never have I incurred this with any contractors before. She even called us back to yell at us. We immediately called the warranty *** and told them what happened and they transferred us to a new vendor. Now we have no Refrigerator or dishwasher for at least a month. Our concern is that the repair man left knowing he didn't fix the Refrigerator and gave us a line of bull and the incredible terrible customer service who refused to help us and was belgerent. Worst contractor experience of my life.Initial Complaint

On May 10 I reported to my home warranty company*********************** that my refrigerator was not working. They assigned the service request to "Speedy Air & Heat". They came to my home several days later to inspect the appliance and said I had to have a new compressor. They ordered it, but it took until June 15 for them to install it. The technician said it may not work since the new one was making a strange noise. So I was to call them the next day if it wasn't cooling. The next day it was difficult to get in contact with them--nobody would answer the phone until late in the afternoon. I even went by the address given about their company, but it was a private home & although I could hear someone inside, nobody would answer the door. When they finally did answer the phone, they said they would have to order another compressor. 5 weeks had elapsed by that time. Meanwhile I had been using a cooler box filled with ice every other day to refrigerate my food. When I knew it was going to be another 5 weeks or so to get another compressor, I purchased a used refrigerator & decided to put my old appliance in the living room to make room for the new one. It was moved approximately 10 feet away from where it originally was, with easier accessibility. Yesterday, July 14, the same technician (Bill) returned with a "new" compressor. He installed it & plugged in the refrigerator to be sure it worked. However this morning, it still wasn't cool, much less "cold". I called Speedy Air back and also my home warranty company. The technician had lied and said that because I had moved the refrigerator, he was unable to properly perform the repair, so Speedy Air refused to fix it again. My home warranty company also has refused to step in so I will be forced to throw the old refrigerator away. I so strongly object to the fact that the technician lied about not being able to fix it. It is a reprehensible company & I wanted you to know. I cancelled my AHS contract.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/18) */ The work order was placed by AHS on 5/16 @ 7:35 am, not 5/10. We called and set an appointment for the VERY SAME DAY! We arrived at your home at 4:45 pm for the appointment we set between 2-6. We sent authorization to AHS on 5/17 (since it was after hours when the tech left the home). AHS ORDERED the compressor, not us. AHS sent us an email on 5/18 stating parts were ordered and eta of 10-15 business days. We called you on 5/18 to advise you of this status. You called on 6/3, we advised you the part was not in yet. On 6/8 the part arrived. We set an apt for 6/15, we installed the part and that's when the tech advised it didn't sound too good, but let us know in the morning. On the MORNING of 6/16, we spoke to you at approximately 11:15 AM, which is when you demanded AHS replace your fridge and not just order another part- and we advised you need to take that up with them. We sent over at 11:27 AM for AHS to order you another compressor. On 6/17 at 7:42 PM, AHS sent us an email stating parts were ordered. We called you on 6/20 to advise they ordered parts and would be 10-15 business days. The part arrived on 7/8 (3 weeks and 1 day, not 5 weeks as claimed), we set an apt for 7/14. Which, at that time, the tech installed the new compressor in your fridge, which was moved by the front door of your home, not in the kitchen where it was originally. And as for you stating the technician lied, which is slander, the technician didn't lie about anything. He performed the job he was set to do, and honestly shouldn't have because it was relocated from the original location in which it started. I'm sure if you read your contract with AHS this would be in there. There are boards and other components in your fridge, and moving them sometimes the littlest movement can short out a board, break a wire loose, anything. However, you called the office on the morning of the 15th, and advised that the fridge was still not cooling, which at that time, we told you that since the fridge was moved from its original location, we would no longer be working on the machine, and for you to call AHS and get a work order and request for another vendor. Which, at that time, you advised you cancelled your contract with AHS. We advised since your contract is cancelled with AHS then there is nothing more we can do since THEY are the ones who paid us for labor, and THEY are the ones who bought the parts. Any further repairs or issues would need to go through THEM. Again, you stating the technician lied is a form of SLANDER, and if you continue we may have to seek legal action. The technician did his job. We did send video and pictures to AHS showing that the fridge is moved. There may be other issues with the fridge, especially since it has been relocated, however, since you no longer have AHS, there is nothing more we can do. Like stated previously, if you read your contract, I'm sure there is a clause in there. We are not a reprehensible company; you are upset with the wrong people here to be honest. Your fridge broke, WE didn't break it. We found the issue, parts were ordered, parts installed, faulty parts (WE didn't make), fridge moved, you cancelled a contract, and after the 1st compressor was bad, you demanded that AHS was going to replace your fridge and not just a part-- so i'm sure there's the issue. Unfortunately, we did our job, and because it wasn't the outcome you wanted because of YOUR actions, we are at fault. Nope, no reason to call us reprehensible, sometimes you reap what you sow. **AND LETS JUST ADD, WHEN HE ARRIVED ON 7/14 TO DO THE JOB, THE FRIDGE WASNT EVEN PLUGGED IN, AND HE HAD TO USE HIS EXTENSION CORD TO EVEN PLUG THE FRIDGE IN TO TEST IT. SO ANOTHER ISSUE FRIDGES REQUIRE A HEAVIER GAUGE EXTENSION CORD TO ACTUALLY RUN IT BECUASE THEY USE SO MUCH POWER** Resolution wanted: finish the job Answer, we did everything we were paid to do.
