    Worst car buying experience ever. Overall Im happy with the truck I bought. The finance and sales department, not so much. After sitting and waiting for nearly 3 hours for the paperwork to be ready on a Sunday afternoon with no other customers on site, I finally get to sign for the new truck. I was told by ***** the sales guy that the truck was either $36 or $38,000. When the paperwork was ready it was shown as $40,000. I mention this and was told it was an added fee that made up the difference. Then ****** the finance guy rushed through the signing as if hes late for a dinner date and I didnt notice a $2000 warranty charge in there that covers rim damage and roadside assistance. I didnt ask for this since I am a member of *** and have no use for it. I didnt notice the charge until after I got home and plugged in the flash drive into the computer and read over the contract. I did ask for an extended warranty to cover the electrical systems but that is no where to be seen in any of the paper work. Every time someone came up to me to ask where I needed to be on payments the price went up each time. I signed three agreements saying if they could get it to this payment price would I buy it today? And each time that amount went up. Even at signing the amount went up again. ****** has zero service after the sale as Ive tried reaching out to him four times over the phone and his cell number he gave me to send him a copy of the insurance card, and I have yet to hear back from him. This company is a typical dealership that practices in deception and manipulations. I will never return here for any future vehicle purchases. You deceive people and include unwanted or needed warranties into the price of a vehicle, have zero service after the sale, and have the nerve to send me a howd we do survey? Thats pretty dumb in my opinion.I would not recommend Gainesville GMC to anyone I know looking for a new vehicle. I would give zero stars in I could.

    I recently tried to buy a vehicle from this scumbag run dealership. I worked for days building a relationship with the salesman "T" and came to a price for a vehicle. I put a deposit down on said vehicle and we were discussing pickup or delivery. 2 days later I receive a phone call stating that the vehicle that I put a deposit down on was sold from underneath me. I was told by the ** that they were going to find something comparable. After a few days of the ** not returning my phone calls I started sending vehicle information that was close to what I was intending to purchase, I was told that they are not going with any vehicle that I found. This is after I was told that a manager or the ** would return my calls 4 separate occasions. The ** didn't even have the decency to return my phone calls. So now I am waiting for my refund to go to another dealership. So now my credit was run and I got a hit on my credit score and I am not purchasing a vehicle from them. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!! I would have rather dealt with a buy here pay here, it would have been a smoother process.

    Bought a 2020 *** Denali on 07/02 (18 days ago). Get it home, realize that night that the interior lights in the truck do not work. Husband goes to hook our 2022 boat up to the truck, trailer connector is not working (lights do not work on the trailer, even though it was hooked up to the truck we had before the *** the day before we bought it and it worked fine), lane assist did not work either. Take the truck to the service department, they say the trailer connector is just fine, and the fuse is blown for the interior lights so it will be $800 to fix JUST that problem. We have not even made the first payment on this truck. Dealership is refusing to fix anything as nothing is covered under warranty. How were we supposed to test the trailer connector to make sure that was working properly before driving the truck off the lot? DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. The whole reason for buying a bigger truck was to haul things and now we cannot haul anything with the truck as the lights do not work on the trailer!

    For about 3 days I have been dealing with this dealership about a vehicle. The ** of the place, ***, told me yesterday he wanted me to sign the paperwork for the vehicle pushing me to only sign his paperwork with out driving the vehicle. I wanted to use my own financing with my bank and he told me I couldn't because the wouldn't get their kick back... Their kick back was more important to them. I called the dealer to put the $1700 that *** wanted and waited. They have my CC information for this deposit they wanted and now have the check from my bank as well and sold the vehicle to someone else.

    Bought a *************** Feb 2020 from this dealership. Spent an additional $2600 to purchase their "Gold Coverage" offered through Asurion, in addition to Gainesville Buick's Powertrain Warranty and another $500 on GAP coverage for the vehicle. Now, just over two years later, I've put ****** miles on it (giving the car a grand total of ****** miles) and the engine needs replaced. Neither Gainesville Buick or Asurion will cover the repair so I just had to spend $7,780 out of pocket to completely replace the engine. Neither company cared at all when I contacted them for help on it, and I haven't made any type of modification to the vehicle since I purchased it.

    Purchased a used vehicle on September 14th (2021) and on the drive home the dashboard went crazy. The vehicle was returned the next day to the shop and then the mechanic said it was a bad sensor, it was replaced and all was well for one month. Upon contacting the dealership after the third month of fixing ($800 worth with more needed) asking to speak with a manager, a gentleman states very rudely that there was no warranty and says you should've got an extended warranty it's been six months. He was advised from September to March is six months, he said a manager will call you back and hung up. After a few days, no contact and I reached back out to them. Again I was told it has been six months and nothing could be done. Within five months, I have had to spend over $3000 and the vehicle is not fixed. The dealership is no help and have not even tried to assist in fixing the lemon the provided. There is no way a mechanic fixed anything to be undrivable in less than six months.
