I contracted with bulldog adjusters to provide public adjuster services following Hurricane ***. Bulldog adjusters negligently ignored my case for ten months causing an almost two year delay in obtaining flood insurance money to repair my home. During this two year delay I suffered a financial loss of approximately $100,000 in addition to tremendous pain, suffering and stress.Business response

We appreciate the opportunity to address Mr. ********* concerns regarding our services. Bulldog Adjusters takes customer feedback seriously and strives to provide clarity on this matter.
Bulldog Adjusters was contracted to represent Mr. ******** in the handling of his insurance claim following Hurricane ***. Our efforts resulted in a favorable settlement for Mr. ********* As part of our services, we assisted in the additional step of coordinating with his mortgage company to process the issued insurance checks. This coordination is not typically required of a public adjuster, but we provided it at no additional charge as a courtesy.
The delay of nearly 10 months in releasing the claim funds was caused by Mr. ********* mortgage company, which mismanaged and held the insurance check. Despite these circumstances being outside of Bulldog Adjusters control, we conducted a thorough investigation when Mr. ******** raised concerns. Initially, the mortgage company denied having possession of the funds. Through our efforts to escalate the matter, we identified that the mortgage company had indeed held the funds. Within a few days, we resolved the issue by facilitating the release and application of the funds to Mr. ********* account.
During this time, Mr. ******** accused Bulldog Adjusters of misappropriating his funds. These allegations were unfounded, as evidenced by email correspondence in our possession. Although the delay stemmed entirely from the mortgage company, we worked diligently to resolve the matter and demonstrated to Mr. ******** where the funds were located.
Mr. ******** also sought $40,000 in damages from Bulldog Adjusters, alleging financial loss due to the delay. Since the delays were caused by his mortgage companys handling of the funds, we declined responsibility for this demand. Following further discussions, Mr. ******** ultimately dropped his demand and paid our contracted fee. However, there remain additional fees owed by Mr. ******** related to our services.
We understand Mr. ********* frustration, as delays in claim processing can be stressful. However, we respectfully assert that Bulldog Adjusters fulfilled its obligations, including securing a favorable claim settlement and resolving the issue with the mortgage company. The delay was not due to negligence or inaction on our part, and as such, we do not believe a refund is warranted.
We value our clients and are committed to providing quality service during challenging times. We regret that Mr. ******** experienced stress during this process and wish him the best moving forward. Should you require additional documentation or clarification, please let us know.
Sincerely,
***** ******

I am rejecting this response because:Unlike Mr. ******* response, my original complaint and statement is completely accurate. I stated the true and complete facts of my entire interaction with Mr ****** and his incompetent employees. It is clear that Mr. ****** still refuses to admit he or his employees made any mistake in the handling of my case. In addition to his ineptitude and negligence, which cost me over $40,000 in additional financial losses, Mr. ****** offered me a bribe (fee discount) if I agreed to delete my negative online reviews of his company. I wonder how many more clients of his accepted his bribe and removed their online reviews? ***** this company and any of their affiliated companies! Youll thank me later
Sincerely,

This business did not provide any of the services promised in their agreement, no contact with me for 2 1/2 years and they are now suing me for $4582.01. This is a private insurance adjuster that promises to handle all negations with my flood (house) claim with my insurance company which being overwhelmed and a Senior seemed like a good idea. This never happened the only calls made to them was to ask about payment, rarely returned may calls or emails. I did all the work over 30 calls and emails, 5 required construction inspections to confirm work was being done, no of which they participated in, There has been not one attempt to contact me for 2 1/2 years which I assumed was because they did nothing. There are many online complaints stating this same problem, no work no contact. They did not earn one ***** and my claim did not even cover all my repairsBusiness response

We respectfully disagree with the claims made by the insured regarding our services. Bulldog Adjusters has consistently worked diligently on this file. Our team thoroughly scoped the loss, created a comprehensive estimate, and negotiated with the insurance company, resulting in payments being issued.
The insured signed our Letter of Representation on January 31, 2022, agreeing to pay Bulldog Adjusters 20% of any negotiated settlement. Throughout this period, we completed 168 tasks, all aimed at resolving this claim. This included numerous attempts to communicate with the insurance company and the insured, despite some difficulty in reaching her.
Upon receiving payments from the insurance company, the insured was advised of her obligation to pay our fee, which she refused. Consequently, we forwarded this matter to collections to recover our rightful fees.
Furthermore, we recommended mediation; however, it was denied by the insurance company due to the forced-placed policy. When we advised litigation, the attorney ultimately decided not to pursue the claim for the same reason.
Despite our exhaustive efforts, the insured still owes us a fee for the funds we successfully negotiated. We remain committed to ensuring all our clients receive diligent and professional service.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:There is no way 168 tasks were completed. Also the payment I received from the insurance company was thousands of dollars less that the estimate from Bulldog my **************** would not release any funds until all vendors were paid and work complete there is no way they would pay Bulldog instead of doing repairs. I was promised that if this happened Bulldog had an Attorney that would *** for more claim funds. This was a lie and did not happen they refused but it had nothing to do with the type of insurance I had, I had coverage! When I called the attorneys office they said my claim was not a high enough dollar amount for it to be worthwhile for them.
When the Bulldog Rep *********************** came to my house I was very distraught about the damage and also had some health is***s, I was assured they would do everything, not true. I maintained all contact with my Lender, did the inspections hired the contractors with not one visit from anyone at Bulldog. I can't be expected to pay out of my pocket any commission since I had to pay thousands of dollars myself to finish the repairs and had to downgrade kitchen cabinets and counter tops. They did ZERO to get me enough for repairs as promised. I do not have the funds to pay them and would not even if I had it. I have all my emails including one from Bulldog telling me basically "to bad" the attorney won't help. I was foolish to sign the agreement with Bulldog at the time as I said I was in great distress and was convinced by *********************** that I would be covered. Bulldog is asking for $4502.81 but the insurance company paid $22,910. on a repair estimate for over $52,000.
BulIdog is saying I was hard to reach which is a lie, they have my cell number, home address and email they are the ones who were hard to reach which is why ALL calls about the claim were by me. I have emails begging them to contact me, the only calls to the **************** made by Bulldog were to ask to have the payments sent to them, which they would not do since the repairs were not completed. I am prepared to take this to court and would really like to see the list of tasks they are saying they did so I can verify and dispute them.
Sincerely,

Dear ******************,
We acknowledge your concerns and appreciate the opportunity to address them.
Claim Processing and Communication: Our records show extensive efforts where made on your claim. We regret any potential communication gaps and the distress they may have caused.
Payments and Attorney Involvement: Payments issued were based on successful negotiations. Our attorneys did not take on litigation due to the nature of the lender-placed policy, not the claim amount.
Contractor Coordination: While we assist with the insurance claim process, hiring contractors or overseeing repairs is not within our service scope as per our agreement.
Fee Dispute: The fee collection is based on the services rendered and the agreement signed on January 31, 2022.
Documentation and Communication: We have made several attempts to contact you via voicemail, text, and email regarding our fees and the status of the claim.
To resolve this matter, we recommend you communicate directly with our collections attorney. We have exhausted all efforts to collect our fee, and further discussion should be directed through the appropriate legal channels.
Sincerely,

My issue is like most other reviews I have read. I called Bulldog Adj. on or about 19 May2023 at 2:43pm. I was told by the person I spoke with that she would pass on my issue. But before she would pass it on, our conversation was about a company ****************** that fixed my roof, but she put me on hold after I told her I had to appear in court because the company mentioned claimed ( I) owed him $3,799.26. She returned after she put me on a 10 min hold and said to fax/email the court order which I did. On or about 22 May 2023 at 9:41 am I called to check on the outcome I was told that the person that takes care of the front desk called out sick.On or about 10:15, I called back to see if I could talk to who was in charge and I was told they would have that person get back to me, on or about 1:34 pm, I kept calling 8times because they had a recording on. Again, I kept trying to 1:38 pm 6 calls. On or about 5:49 and %:50 it ************* was closed. no way to leave a message. On or about 23May 2023 *:52 am Same thing someone will get back to me On or about 11:46 am I was told that a supervisor by the name of ****** would get back to me after her meeting. On or about 6/6/2023 no calls to explain why they will not open back up the case and find out why he claims he is still owed money. During the meeting with my person during the repairs she was aware and mentioned she had issues with the owner of Castle Rock before my case. ************ of Castle Rock claimed he had found issues with the roof, and he would need more money to complete the job. I was informed he was spoken to by people at Bulldog. about what he was claiming. I was told by my insurance company they told Bulldog and Castle Rock they were not going to pay for work that was being claimed because they said nothing was damage for what he was asking payment for.I was also told that all of the people who were there working on my issues no longer work for Bulldog Adjusters. I need someone to call me.Business response
