    I had an extremely frustrating and dishonest experience with Start Auto Finance that I feel compelled to warn others about. Initially, the financing process seemed straightforward and promising, but it quickly turned into a nightmare.After finalizing my financing agreement, making my payments as agreed, and fulfilling all the terms outlined in the contract, I was shocked when the company repossessed my vehicle without proper notice or valid cause. This action came without warning and felt more like theft than a lawful recovery. When I attempted to contact their customer service for clarification, I was met with evasive answers and unhelpful responses.Despite providing proof of payment and compliance, Start Auto Finance continued to ***** accountability and refused to return my vehicle or resolve the situation fairly. Their deceptive tactics and lack of transparency have caused significant financial and emotional distress.I strongly advise anyone considering doing business with this company to think twice. Their practices are unethical, their communication is poor, and their handling of customer issues borders on fraudulent behavior.     I stopped paying for the car because it was not drivable I had to get rental to do my job. I was sold a lemon by the dealership and the finance company financed it. They excepted me to pay for something I cannot use that robbery to its fullest extent I tried reaching out to get the car fixed and no one tried to get the issue resolved. I just need my deposit of $8,500 that i deposited for the vehicle. If bbb cant help me resolve the issue after submitting the paperwork from the diagnostics test from the qualified Range Rover technicians I guess my only option is to move forward with the matter in court.

    Any problems with the condition of the vehicle needs to be addressed with the Dealer that sold the vehicle.  Start Auto Finance only financed the loan and is not responsible for vehicle repairs.  The borrower is responsible for the vehicle maintenance and repairs, having the vehicle insured, and making his loan payments on time and in accordance with the terms of the contract.  The customer breached his contract when he failed to make his payments, and the vehicle was repossessed.

    I was sold a lemon by the dealership and 2 weeks later the car broke down the engine needs to be replaced and the transmission fix along with other electrical issues and no one is willing to resolve this issue this is total robbery and unethical and deceptive business practices and therefore I stand by my response.

    Start Auto Finance is not a credit card company.  Further, our records indicate that all payments were made on time and Start Auto Finance never reported to Equifax any late payments.  However,if the Borrower thinks that the information reported on the credit report is not accurate, the borrower will need to file an electronic dispute with Equifax.  Once the dispute is received, the account will be reviewed and updated with any new changes electronically via Equifax.  We only report with Equifax.

    I am aware of this tradeline unlawfully reporting on my consumer report. And would like to conduct a further investigation. Please submit all documents that you have submitted to consumer reporting agencies. That you used to create this tradeline on my credit report. I have reason to believe that you unlawfully obtained my personal identification information. Without my prior consent; which, you have used to create this tradeline on my credit report. let me explain, if you have used my Name and any other personal identifiable information such as: a social security card, driver license, or my address. Without a signed agreement between me and your agency. That expresses mutual assent from both parties. Then you are facing some serious penalties under the UNITED STATES CODE. Pursuant 18 USC 1028A Aggravated identity theft. (See United States **********, 737 F.3d 129, 134) "Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 1028A(a)(1), a person is guilty of aggravated identity theft if, in relation to any crime listed in 1028A(c), he "knowingly . . . uses, without lawful authority, a means of identification of another person." The statute defines the term "means of identification". To mean "any name or number that *** is used alone, or in conjunction with any other information. To identify a specific individual, including any name, social security number, [or] date of birth." Meaning if you used 2 separate forms of identification without my consent. Then you committed aggravated identity theft under 18 USC 1028A. If you delete this tradeline then i will drop my claim.

    Tell The Borrower had a car loan with Start Auto Finance. The vehicle was involved in an accident, and it was a total loss.  The vehicle was never repossessed.
    However, his insurance carrier did not pay in full the loan amount leaving a pending balance that was charged off. 
    If the customer wishes to pay off the amount owed, he may contact Start Auto Finance at ************ to make his payment.  At which point, payment will be reflected in his credit report with Equifax.  Equifax is the only agency that we report to.

    Can you submit my 1099c form in relation to this account. I would also like to state, if the 1099c was filed, the debt gets turned into income. And income is legally not allowed to be on a credit report. For this reason, you must not only zero the debt but you must also delete the account from my credit report as a whole. So please send me my 1099c and delete the account so I dont have to take further action. Because, as of now, the negative item is stopping me from getting a house. Which can be a significant amount of damages your company may have to pay if I get denied because of the account that is reporting income on my credit report.

    They are lying. Their documents are not correct they do not have wet signatures on the documents or dates. Nothing adds up the documents that I signed. I signed dates on the documents that they have. There are no dates signed by me. The signature seem to not match and they stole money from me and trying to resell the car, not only that they have withheld all of my personal belongings. They have banned me from the property to get my personal belongings and they are in breach of contract according to my documents that they submitted to the bank. I put $12,000 down they are committing bank fraud  by having two different contracts and not submitting them to the bank and then the finance company is hiding the documents and working together with stealing money from the clients. There are several reviews on ****** and the Better Business Bureau in regards to their unethical behavior. This really needs to stop. I have further documentation of the finance manager, lying, saying that she had no dealings with me at all. I submitted a response from her directly off of her social media to another platform. This is just further proof that they are lying and hiding documents.

    I signed a **ntract clearly stating I put 12k down. This **mpany and Easy Deal Auto brokers have so many **mplaints with the same story of them stealing money and hiding documents. They are stealing thousands from me and trying to get away with it! I received my tire, hard plates and they ** **nspired to steal my money.     The Dealer Easy Deal Auto Broker provided information that the Borrower did not make her full down payment of $12,000 to the Dealer as stipulated in the contract.  The Borrow paid a total of $8,000.00 leaving a $4,000.00 balance which she agreed to pay on a weekly basis to the Dealer. 
    Further, she signed a pickup payment agreement with Easy Deal Auto Brokers.  A copy is being provided.

    However, the borrower failed to make her $4,000 pickup payment as stipulated in the agreement that she signed with the Dealer, which prompted the Dealer to take possession of the vehicle.

    Consequently, the deal was cancelled and not funded by Start Auto Finance due to said breach of contract.

    The customer was asked to provide proof of full down payment and to date she has failed to provide proof.

    If the Borrower *********************** still has a dispute with the $12,000 down payment, she must refer herself back to Easy Deal Auto Brokers.

    According to Easy Deal ****************** did not pay her full deposit of $12,000.00 and she has not provided proof to us or to BBB that she paid her full deposit.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    This is outright lie, ive received my hard plates, my title, and I paid for everything. I have emails with their staff saying that all of my stipulations were approved. I am not in any default of loan. They are working together with the dealer to steal money and there is more than one allegation of her stealing money, and stealing gap insurance from other customers and this is exactly whats happening. In my case I have documentations that I submitted that I have a contract I have my title and I had my hard plated from the dmv. They took my car back in less than 30 days which was all meticulously planned out. I submitted all of my documents on March 18 or 19th and they took the car on the 22nd after they had told me everything was fine on the 18th or 19th. They then come and take the car on the 22nd which is less than 30 days Im entitled to my down payment back they are stealing it and trying to resell the vehicle which I have the registration to, how is this even possible? How is this even legal when I signed a contract that says that Start auto is the only people that was allowed to repo the vehicle and yet Easy auto brokers re-possess the vehicle. In fact they are in breach of contract and owe me my down payment!

    I did show proof in the contract that I put the full deposit down. The contract was binding on all parties unless ********************* pocketed the money herself our contract and my receipt when I paid my foray carnote shows that I put 12k down. My receipt when I paid my original car note shows that I had no side loans and no balances this is a blatant lie, and they are stealing money and stealing vehicles to fund their lifestyle. There is many many complaints of the same issues of bank fraud, document hiding and I have an official statement from ********************* herself stating that she never even did any business with me and thats a lie so that proves that she is a liar. Everything they are saying is false and the mere fact she sent a message to someone lying about my finances is outrageous but she lied! The loan was approved and she did finance me. I have a recorded call where she even states that they would finance another car for me! I dont know how much more proof that I have to show if the document says that I put $****** down thats what the document says thats a binding contract. They are committing bank fraud. Even on the initial call when they did my welcome call the lady asked me how much money I put down I said ****** because that is what I put down and then they come back in less than 30 days and they let the dealer Repo my vehicle, even though they were not the lienholder and Start auto funded the deal they are liars. ********************* is lying. She is pocketing the money to fund her lifestyle to ride around in Maseratiss.

    Channel 7 news need to see these reviews! The car lot I originally purchased my vehicle from is permanently closed. I purchase a vehicle and upon leaving the lot my driver side front tire fell off from the entire frame. The car was improperly inspected before selling. I ended up spending $ a year later to replace the frame again after waiting 2 weeks to even drive the vehicle. The sales person was fired immediately. The licenses were all expired displayed inside of the company. I was then scammed into Start Auto Finance. The bank is very unprofessional and has been charging me miscellaneous fees since Ive gotten my car 4 years ago. I was originally told to put down $4000 for the car. They called me back 30 days later stating that I needed to bring $2000 more dollars or return then car and they will deduct from my original $4000 deposit for the days I drove around. I didnt want to let my car go so I paid it not knowing that another bank had received my application and also approved me for a lower down payment. Since then Start Auto Finance has been breaking all kinds of laws with contacting and threatening me. They have made calls to my references with intentions to embarrass me because I paid my car payment late. They contact my references before reaching out to me on numerous occasions. I made a down payment of too much money and also paid a lot over 4 years and still owe the exact same balance as when I signed my first loan documents. They have illegally repossessed my vehicle in the past and also charged me personal fees for retrieving my vehicle because the tow man required me to pay him for getting up on a Sunday. Please investigate them as Im an now going with a lawyer to remove this company from my past. I have been stuck in this car trying to pay it off for years they adjust my loan too many times and call from spam numbers telling me to remove my personal belongs for nothing! I have a new car with a better bank but I still want them investigated!

    At the time of purchase the dealer provides a copy of the Purchase Agreement to the Borrower.  However, if the borrower has misplaced or does not have a copy of the Purchase Agreement, the borrower will need to come to Start Auto Finance located at:  *************************************************************************** and request a copy person.  The Borrower must provide a government issue photo ID when making the request to confirm identity, and a copy will be provided at no cost to the borrower.

    With regards to a credit dispute, if the Borrower thinks that the information reported on the credit report is not accurate, the borrower will need to file an electronic dispute with Equifax.  Once the dispute is received, the account will be reviewed and updated with any new changes electronically via Equifax.  We only report with Equifax.

    Was paying this car on time and start auto never was reporting to the credit bureaus and didnt even showed up on my credit file until now bc of the repo but I have every right to disputes because I feel like Im owe some money and the balance inaccurate the price of the car was ***** thinking that was too much for ****** Altima 2022 it was used too so I got scammed of my hard work money this year 6/17/23 I got into a accident and the car was total loss and I had gap insurance and nothing got resolved the worst finance company ever!! Opened the car loan last yr of sept 2022 and the balance is still the same since last yr the balance should be by 25k if I paid 6k of on time payments but I feel like Im in need of some kind of refund!! And my credit report only reported to one bureau Equifax so if nothing gets done Ill will have to take legal action if nothing gets resolved and the balance is inaccurate if I been paying it on time made 17 on time payments since oct 2022-June 2023 balance of the car loan didnt change if I cant get a refund well I want it deleted off my credit report delete it asap!! They are falsely reporting to my credit!Account #********** are falsely reporting to my credit file and are against my rights and fair credit act. Under 15 U.S. Code ****d - Disclosure of investigative consumer reports: you are in violation. I have attached the definition so you can see the violation! (a)Disclosure of fact of preparation A person may not procure or cause to be prepared an investigative consumer report on any consumer unless(1)it is clearly and accurately disclosed to the consumer that an investigative consumer report including information as to his character, general reputation,personal characteristics, and mode of living, whichever are applicable, may be made,and such disclosure (A) is made in a writing mailed, or otherwise delivered, to the consumer, not later than three days after the date on which the report was first requested.I request to be provided proof of this alleged item, specifically the original application, contract, note or other instrument bearing my signature with Start Auto Finance.
