    I hired 24/7 Logistics to move from *************,** to *****,**. After arriving a month late, they lost my 6 ft and 10 ft ladder, and also lost a wardrobe box containing suits, jackets and even a few musical instruments. The driver told me that every delivery on the truck had missing items. There is serious negligence on their company for allowing so many deliveries to get messed ** in transit. I contacted 24/7 and asked what happened. It just simply vanished with no explanation. After a few weeks I had to contact them again and was told we are sorry but nothing was found. I filed a claim for lost items and for a refund of my shipping cost per square foot of wardrobe box and ladders. They denied that they owe me anything for freight cost of above items. I believe it is in my rights to be compensated for shipping costs of freight that was lost due to their own negligence. Why would I have to pay to ship items that never arrived? I am extremely disappointed that 24/7 did nothing to make me feel like they want to resolve the problem.

    First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience the customer has endured during the move. It is never our intention that customers will have a less than satisfying experience.

    Per the **** of Lading governing the customer's move, the customer chose to release their goods to the carrier under the limited liability coverage of 60 cents per lb. per article. Under this choice of coverage, the carrier's legal liability for loss or damage is limited to the 60 cents per lb. per article and will only apply when the loss or damage claim is determined to be due to the carrier's negligence or mishandling of the customer's goods. 

    Per the information on our file, your claim has been settled on 06/14/2022. You have selected to accept the settlement and release the carrier from any future claims and/or complaints of whatsoever nature regarding your shipments Order No. NC3691947 By filing this complaint you are in breach of the contractual agreement you have agreed to, and signed.

    We regret the customer found it necessary to file a complaint, but trust that the above explanation enables them to better understand our position in this matter.
