  This roof contractor left an open permit and never finished the job. It has been impossible to get him to finish the work and he has stopped responding to *************, who was helping me with the matter.

  I am writing in response to complaint ID ******** filed by Ms. ***** *** regarding her roofing project.
  I would like to clarify that our company, Vejar Roofing and Construction Inc., does not currently have an account with *************, which has complicated our communication regarding this matter. Upon receiving the complaint from the BBB, I reached out to **** ******, our former employee, to gather more details about the situation.
  Mr. ****** informed me that the last inspection on December 6, 2024, was not approved, and we need to revise the permit. We were unaware of these issues until we were notified by the BBB. I, ***** ******** Vejar, the president of the company, am personally handling this issue.
  The last email correspondence I had with Ms. *** was during the permit processing. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and want to assure you that I am committed to resolving this matter and rebuilding the trust we once shared with Ms. ************** ******* 7, 2025, I emailed Ms. *** requesting her signature on a necessary form to process the paperwork with the city. We are currently awaiting her response, and I will keep the BBB updated as soon as we close the permit.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  I find it very interesting because ******* response is very misleading.  He is acting as if he did not know about this issue and is trying to blame it solely on **** ******, his apparent former employee.  

  I found ******* company via Thumbtack. **** ****** represented Vejar Roofing company on *********. I am attaching the contract and the payments that I made to Vejar Roofing.

  ***** has been well aware of this issue that he never closed my permits for many months (at least since June 2024) and has not resolved it.  I am attaching the contract with his company as well as the evidence of payments.

  I am also attaching a permit application (it is really a re application because Vejar Roofing never closed the initial permit from 2023) that he signed on July 24, 2024 but never completed anything.
