In February 2022 Universal Design Solutions started work on our master bathroom. They were here from February until October before we told them enough. All this work is brand new so if I can get a state inspector or someone to come see it you will be shocked at the shoddiness and poor craftsmanship! We saved years to make this bathroom handicapped accessible for our disabled son. I am also a 100 percent retired disabled Veteran. This is a split contract; my son gets services from the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) so anything that’s considered handicap related is supposed to be paid for by the APD and all the rest of the remodeling was from our savings. This work is so egregious that its laughable if it wasn’t so heart breaking. This company was recommended by the APD to us, as they supposedly specialize in Handicap renovations. By the second week of April, I thought I’d better start making videos and taking notes. By early Oct we ask them to leave, we are not sure what to do at this point. This was supposed to be a complete remodel of our master bathroom. We paid $10,000 at the start with a remaining $27, 000, the work was so bad they never ask for another installment until we told them to leave. Mike the owner sent a man named Jose, who didn't speak English and never came to check on him even though we told them we had quality concerns, finally around June we told Mike that Jose wasn't going to work out for us. Mike brought in another guy he lasted 4 days. As it stands right now almost everything they did needs to be redone. I am not exaggerating, the ceilings, the tile floors, the cabinetry, the whole shower, walls and floors. I have video evidence of all the various problems and the complete shoddiness of the work, and I have the bathroom itself that I'm trying to get a state inspector to come look at.

Unfortunately, there is not much new in this response to comment to.  Most of the complaint is about your software system.

As to the unlicensed contractor comment, this is not something we would have said since there are no licensed contractors in Florida for things like framing, drywall, tile, etc.  Florida does not license these activities.  For the plumbing we used a licensed plumber and plumbing permit.  All sub contractors also had business licenses and insurance.

you sent me this email and ask for a response. The subject line was prefilled out saying that I accept the businesses response and it would not let me change it.  I certainly do not accept their response.
