Greetings C2C, ****** was charged an LEP due to the incorrect actions of the health plan. I have submitted the form for a reconsideration, left a voice mail and waited the 90 days for a response. The LEP is still being deducted from the client's account and my phone hasn't recieved a call back from your company. The voice mail machine said you will call back. Please return my call ************. Please help with the reconsideration request we submitted over 90 days ago. Thank you, ******

Hello, my name is **** ******* and I'm the Power of Attorney for my ****** ** *** - ********* ******* I'm writing this statement to provide additional information concerning this troublesome situation with Aetna/Medicare.

My Insurance Broker, ****** ****** and myself conducted a phone Attestation in late May 2024 with a Sales Representative from ***** to confirm that ********* indeed did have Insurance coverage for medication and hospital visits with Tricare/US Family Health Insurance from 1995 to May 31st, 2024. The Aetna Sales Rep processed the paperwork incorrectly for the Attestation, resulting in ********* having $75.00 per month taken out of her social security monthly checks. Whenever I would call ***** to make sure the Attestation went through correctly, they said yes. Also, I received statements in the mail after the Attestation from ***** saying that a Late Enrollment Penalty was going to be applied to her Account. When I called to ask why, they told me to disregard the statement.

But ***** was wrong, and it was too late, and I received a letter from Medicare saying that the $75.00 payments would be taken out of social security starting in August 2024. We filed a formal complaint/grievance with *****. When ****** and I called ***** once the LEP went into affect, they said all we could do is file an appeal through C2C to have these payments taken out of her social security reversed.

C2C has not responded back to the appeal, and it is now November.

They need to stop the $75.00 payment being taken out of her social security as soon as possible, and it was the fault of the ***** sales rep that this whole situation happened in the first place.

This is by the worse experience I've ever had with an insurance company, and I feel like C2C is not taking this matter seriously. The social security monthly checks are what ** ****** ** *** depends on to live her life, and because of the mistake that ***** made, she is unfairly having crucial funds deducted from her social security for no reason.

    Please help.

    Thank you,

    **** *******

I still have the issue.  My insurance will be discontinued the Friday, June 16th if C2C does not resolve the issue.  They stated they have 90 days but I apparently don't for them to cancel my insurance.  I can not reach Wellcare at all now. Somehow my phone number can not be verified.

On May 12, 2022 I sent this company a letter requesting an independent review of the denial of Medicare prescription drug coverage for the prescribed drug canakinumab (ILARIS Solution). I have attempted to contact the company numerous times to obtain a status report of my appeal. The company has failed to call me back despite their recorded messages saying they would do so. Their is no way to contact and speak to a real person at the company. They only have pre-recorded voice prompts and never call back.
