Scheduled 3 movers for 9am. 2 movers showed up at 9:45am. One was a tiny person who couldn't lift much. The 3rd mover showed up at 10:30 but only stayed for 3 hours. We were charged for their truck which could have been used to bring furniture from the garage at the back of the property, but instead, the truck sat empty and the movers slowly carted stuff about 80 yards. Even after a hefty tip to each mover, we were still overcharged. Charged for 3 movers at 24 hours of labor and a truck, but the truck wasn't used and the movers were there for 15 hours. No answer or return call when calling the office to dispute the charges.Review from Paul S

The owner significantly underestimated the cost to pack our belongings by approximately 30%, which cost us hundreds of additional dollars. We were told that they would use their own truck, use padding to protect our floor, and would be agreeable to reimburse us for damages to our property caused by the move. None of which turned out to be true. Packing of certain items was very poor and resulted in hundreds of dollars of damage. We sent an email with attached invoices and/or emails from the manufacturers of our damaged property and requested reimbursement. Our email has been ignored. The only reason we are giving Lighthouse Movers, Inc. two stars is because of the effort of the driver to deliver our belongings. He did a good job in driving across country and dealing with severe weather. However, underestimating the packing cost by 30%, the damage to our property, ignoring our email, and the inaccurate statements made by the owner indicate to us that this company should not be hired. We'll never use them again, and we recommend that you use another moving company as well.Review from Sharon A

I moved from ******* to ****. The owner guaranteed they would wrap my large wall hangings and they would be fine. One of the wall hangings the glass was shattered the delivery man didnt even ********* and my freezer wasnt wrapped and brand new freezer has more scratches and dents than a showroom floor selling scratch and debt products. No one has returned my call from Lighthouse movers. The delivery man even wrote on the contract damaged items and took pictures. I have also sent pictures to the owner. Of course, no response and its been almost 2 months. Very unprofessional and unacceptable. I Do Not Recommend Lighthouse Movers. Rating a 3 because the delivery man was solo delivering my furniture.
