i just got a game ran on me by the General Sales Manager at ORANGE PARK MITSUBISHI and i live in ******* *******. I cosigned for a 2019 ford fusion with over 100k miles on it. I cosiged by signing docu signs. My 20 yr old daughter drove the car off the lot on july 3. On the 8th the Manager called me to say my daughter gave him a fake check stub even though she is working. He coerced me into putting this car into my name by repeatedly stating that my daughter committed fraud and something was going to happen to her. Well after 24 calls from him i put the car in my name spoke with the bank on july 21 and the car engine went out on july 23rd. He stated that the car had a oil leak and my daughter drove it anyway instead of bringing it in. Now hes talking nasty to me and not returning my calls. I have documented evidence on this guy in regards to this bad deal but im trying to give him a chance to fix it

When Mr. ******’s daughter called us for the first time about the issue, our service manager specifically told her not to drive the car and we would have it towed in to be looked at.   His daughter neglected the advice and continued to drive the car, which made the engine seize up.

As a courtesy, we are more than welcome to help with some of the labor cost to help the customer. This vehicle was purchased without a warranty.

As for the fake paystub, please see the attachment that was returned by the bank. *** rejected the paystub.  After reviewing it, they concluded it was fraudulent. See attached as provided by his daughter.
