I have a motorhome that experienced a flat tire on 295 in ************, ******* on 8/28/23. I was stuck on the shoulder about a mile before ***************. I requested roadside service from Davis Tire about 6 pm. They came (about 8:30 pm) with the proper size and brand tire, so I will give them that credit. After that my experience with them went downhill. Their technician improperly lifted the coach and dropping it doing about $2,500 in damage (to one of my levelers). He came ill prepared and lacked the knowledge to properly lift the coach or deal with the damage he did. He ultimately just left me there for the night unable to move. The next morning I had to call another roadside assistance company to fix the damage and get me on my way. That was another $1,200. Davis charged me $1658 for bringing a tire. The way they left me, I was still on the shoulder and unable to move. They didn't call me to see if I still needed help the next morning and to this day refuse to acknowledge that it was their technician's fault. The coach was on their bottle jacks, dropped while on them and they refuse to accept that this is their responsibility. They offered me a $1k "credit" to spend at their store at some future date, which is useless (I live in **) and doesn't come close to the damages caused and expenses incurred. My motorhome is in the shop for the last 2 weeks due to this issue and will probably be there a week more. On top of that... just before their technician left (11pm), he wanted to roll the old tire into the *****, and would have, had I not shamed him out of it. I can't speak to their shop, but I can tell you that if you have a motorhome and need roadside assistance, stay far far away from them.
