This business completed work for myself and a few neighbors several years ago and we were satisfied. He was in the neighborhood again in August and we hired him again (along with 4 other neighbors). He damaged several things while on my property. He ran into my gate with his equipment (he did fix it). He dug up electrical line for sprinkler system ( he fixed this). He broke off a flag pole (replaced but not to my liking). His truck leaked hydrolic fluid on my driveway ( no way to fix it). He caused cracks and broke off concrete on sidewalk and driveway in several areas. He did attempt to “rough” patch 1 area of the concrete and was supposed to come back snd smooth it out and repair other areas but never did. Not returning my calls or texts. His truck and business card says licensed and insured, however, myself nor any neighbors obtained this info from him. My driveway is only 4 years old and had no damage. Now the areas he cracked will be vulnerable to future problems. At this point, we do not want him back on the property. We want a refund to have the repairs made or his insurance information to file a claim.

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I am not sure who is wrote the attached letter. It does not mention the damage to multiple areas of the concrete on driveway and walkway. I agree the other repairs were completed. The complaint is regarding the driveway. I do regret paying before damaged areas were completely repairs. I believed and trusted ***** when is said he would come back to complete the repairs. In reference to the comment about complaining 2 1/2 months after the fact, ***** was aware of my caomplaints  immediately but phone calls (which he never returned) and text message  (which I do hav record of sending hime) and his lack of response to my messages. I texted him specifically about the concrete repairs on 8-19, 8-20, 8-23, 8-25, 9-8, 9-16, and 10-6. I had no response regarding this matter until I wrote I complaint about your company on google and emailed your company for a copy of your business license and insurance. I received an email response from ********** ****** (response attached) refusing to provide requested info because she did not like my review, however, she does acknowledge that "the man just has to smooth the area he repaired" so this proves that someone other than ***** and his workers knew the repair was not complete. Keep in mind, the email was dated 10-25 which was 2 months after the damage was caused and she is admitting repairs were not complete. If the repair was a simple as she makes it sound, why would 2 months have gone by and the company never reach out to me?  My understanding of your hand written response is that basically since I paid, you feel no obligation to complete the repairs. That is wrong, disrespectful and deceitful. I am sure if I withheld payment, you would have made repairs in order to get your money. The last time that I saw *****, he was finishing a job across the street and he sent a young female to my door to tell me that he was too tired to work on my repairs that day and would be back in a couple days. I am sure he knew at that time, that he had no intention of coming back. This is probably a family business so you feel you have to defend  *****. Myself and several others in the neighborhood had a negative experience with him. If the business is not willing to provide a cop of their license or insurance, I will contact the city, county, state to get verification they are licensed and then look into the insurance. I will also provide comment to my experience on as many social network sites as possible to hopefully prevent someone else from being treated this way. Photos attached of email from **********, photos of the damage and limited repairs to driveway and sidewalk. The sidewalk is older, however, the driveway is only 3 years old and had no cracks in it. My husband and I saved for years to pour a new driveway and build the 3 car garage. Such a shame it was damaged because shortcuts were made (did not put down plywood before cutting down the tree) and repairs were not completed. The repairs that were attempted look unprofessional and honestly terrible.

    Regards,

    ***** *****
