10/23/2.0 in the amount of $8,000.00 for the draw schedule. 02-17-21 in the amount of $36,800.00 was the payment for the house . The house was never ordered contractor refused to give us any money back. We paid him a total of ****** for a house and construction that was never completed .Business response

tomeGood morning,We are emailing to respond to complaint ID ********.We entered a contract and agreement with Hong Ngo.
We never received the $8,000. And we only received half of the 2cnd draw. The only things that weren't completed from the draw schedule was the deposit for the house and the foundation and that's because we only receive half of the amount.
Upon his request we changed the house on the lot 3 times which meant paying the engineer extra which resulted in him not wanting to do anything with the project.
Also we'd like to note that in the beginning ********** didn't want to put down the whole amount of the 1st draw because he was waiting on a closing of a home. So everything was put on pause. When it finally did close, he changed his mind about doing a cash deal and decided to go through the bank instead.
His loan application with the bank fell through.
With the deposit that we received and the amount of work that was completed the balance is 0.00
We apologize that things didn't work out.
