We visited in Feb '24 and had to book back in summer '23. To our surprise, American Idol was taping the entire time we were there. We were never notified and when I asked at the front desk they said I should have received an email in Fall of 23. We never received an email. When I asked other guests about it, only about a handful of them did receive that email. There was no notification at the front desk when we checked. We had to deal with constant noise that went to 9pm on some nights (even though we were told there would be a hard stop at 7pm). The erected a massive stage on half the beach, cramming all the guest to the other half. A bunch of amenities were closed off due to taping, including some prime seating areas. They stopped all night time amenities (uncles stories, shows, etc.) for guest and provided them only for American Idol taping and the guests were roped off from the areas. The first 3 days we dealt with constant construction noise and heavy machinery as they built the stage. Then constant screeching from the contestants as they rehearsed - ALL day and into the evening. Had to close our windows so kids could sleep and we didn't have to listen to the screeching. Other guests were taken aback by this as well and were super unhappy as we all paid full price to deal with all the chaos. The managers at ****** were super unhelpful. When I asked if this would be typical every year they said no. We decided to give Aulani another try. Booked for Feb 25 and made sure not to cross any paths with American Idol again. Kept a look out for any emails and even call the front desk of the hotel to make sure. I was shocked a month before when I read online that American Idol will there again the same time we are. When I called the front desk again, they said they couldnt comment on a private event, couldnt even tell me as a paying guest that would be occurring even though I was able to find all this information online.

I am a Type 1 Diabetic and was denied the assistance of a DAS pass- because Disney changed the rules. Its very discriminatory of Disney to only offer the pass to those with developmental disabilities and deny the accommodation to all other disabilities that are protected by the ****

No words for the lack of safety precautions put into place tonight during the firework show at Disney. They are packing in a disgusting amount of people, and there was no way to get in or out of Magic kingdom before/after/during the show. This crowd was worse than any music festival Ive ever attended. Employees are saying theyve never seen the park like this before. This is what corporate greed looks like!

I spoke with Oakley via video to request a DAS pass, which Ive been able to get in the past, but Disneys policy is changed and I am not qualified for one. I have a ************* and PTSD as a combat veteran and if this is how Disney treats their pass-holders, I certainly will not be renewing in the future. Disgraceful! shame on Disney

I inquired about an Adventures by Disney vacation package to ***** for my birthday and was put on a waitlist. I informed the individual that I was going alone. This person never told me the price difference for a single person so I assumed the price on the website would be the price I would pay. I received a call from another employee a couple of months later to tell me that the trip is on and am I ready to pay a deposit I said yes. She tells me the amount is $1,600 so I provide my credit card information. A couple of minutes later I receive an email with an invoice for $16k which is not what was on the website this is a $5K difference. I reach out to Disney who then gives me a phone number to call so I did and spoke with a ******. She states they will do an investigation to see if the individual gave me the wrong information. I receive a call a week later from ****** stating the person told me the correct deposit amount and never discussed pricing. So, I inform ****** the deposit amount is not the issue it is the total cost of the adventure. So you would think with that information of not discussing price from the initial inquiry or the second phone call I would receive my refund. But no the price for a single person was not discussed with the first or second call and after receiving the invoice I contacted Disney to disputed the amount. Still no refund so now I have to get an attorney take Disney to court to get my refund back. All the money I have spent with Disney this is so disappointing that I have to go through all of this when they know they are in the wrong. At this point it is the principal of the matter not the money.

We arrived at the 'resort'. More like a low-quality motel. We had to change rooms three times! The first motel was Fantasia I have recorded multiple videos of each room we had to relocate to. Let's start with the first room. Some walls were filthy. The floor was dirty. The fridge didn't work. There were issues with the outlet. The phone in the room was so old you couldn't hear the person on the other end of the line. It also smelled of mold, like an old urinal. It's important to note that both my daughter and I are autistic. Therefore, this experience was quite challenging for us. I was distraught throughout the four days we spent there. Quite an experience, huh? The second room we were moved to wasn't much better. The fridge in this room wasn't working either! And the shower wouldn't heat up. The third room wasn't any improvement ********* seemed like the housekeeper's hair was all over the bed. The fridge also wasn't functioning here. I had multiple breakdowns. The front desk staff wasn't helpful at all. They seemed utterly clueless. Now, let's talk about *****. It was terrible. The food at the princess meet-and-greet dinner was appalling, the sort of thing children wouldn't even eat. They didn't even inform us that my daughter's favorite princess, Aurora, wasn't there as advertised. Consequently, my autistic daughter was disappointed because we came to this disappointment of a place solely for Aurora! I plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau and posting the videos on all applicable social media platforms. I aim to save other parents from wasting time, money, and the emotional distress from this degrading place. I suggest taking them to an indoor water park or perhaps *****************. It's certainly not worth it. They treated us horribly. I hope Disney faces some consequences for their actions. They are an awful, money-grubbing organization that tarnished my vacation that I spent thousands on.

Disney company current disbut with prosecuters whom the company wishes to toss out based on "The notion that terms agreed to by a consumer when creating a Disney+ free trial account would forever bar that consumers right to a jury trial in any dispute with any Disney affiliate or subsidiary, is so outrageously unreasonable and unfair as to shock the judicial conscience, and this court should not enforce such an agreement, the lawyers wrote." For a doctor who died after eating the Spings Irish pub of nuts in scalar dish. However, I do not feel her death of allergic reaction was caused by restaurant due to length of reaction. The fact that Disney is using an app disclaimer for their argument turns my stomach.

I was denied Disney DAS service, on August 12, 2024. I am Type 1 Diabetic, and have used DAS, several times in the past. DAS is now, only for people with Autism, and is ignoring people covered under the American's with Disabilities Act. This change, will make me reconsider my annual passes, as well as keeping my DVC contracts (yes plural). This change in policy, is absolutely ridiculous.
