The customer ** ****** ****** arrived at the dealership on 12/07/2023 looking to purchase a vehicle, *** ****** stated he has received a settlement from the insurance company due to a previous accident and was looking for a vehicle no more than $6000 cash, after looking at several vehicles the customer asked the price of the 2005 Nissan Murano and was given the price of $3800. *** ****** test drove the vehicle and stated that he liked the vehicle but wanted to negotiate a price due to the mileage on the vehicle. The customer paid $3,300 for the vehicle plus tax/tag/title transfer fee. When the vehicle was purchased, the customer signed a Buyer’s Guide sheet stating that vehicle was sold “AS IS” and “The dealer doesn’t provide a warranty for any repairs after the sale”. This form is also displayed on all the vehicle dashboards.  The customer test drove and inspected the vehicle prior to purchase. On 12/14/2023 *** ****** called the dealership and stated the vehicle “turned off and wouldn't start”, Out of good faith we sent out a mechanic (at our expense) to assist the customer and our mechanic was able to get the car to start without any problem. The mechanic plugged in the computer and ran codes pertaining to 2 sensors. The customer was then notified of the potential issue with the vehicle and stated he did not have money for repairs at the time and would wait until he got paid and fixed it with his friend. On Tuesday 12/19/2023 we reached out to the customer and told him we would be willing to help him with his vehicle if he purchased the parts, the customer did not agree and did not want to pay. The following day on 12/20/2023 the customer posted a ******** ****** ****** also did bad reviews him and his partner on our ******** **** posting about the business with pictures not only of his vehicle but also our personal car with our tag in it, despite our several attempts, out of good faith to make things right. On 12/23/2023 the customer came to the dealership to tow the vehicle and called the police to meet him here.  When he arrived, he stated he was leaving the vehicle in our lot and didn’t want anything to do with the vehicle. A couple of days after the customer called us again and tried to work out a deal, we again tried to help him out somehow with the vehicle if the customer agreed to take down the review slandering the business. The customer agreed and took down only his ****** ****** and asked if we could look at the vehicle. The customer was aware we were going to contact him after the holidays. On 01/03/24 we reached out to the customer. We needed him to sign an authorization form so we could put our hands in his vehicle, he refused to do so and stated he was not going to make any payments for the repair. As he requested, we then towed the vehicle back to his address. (again, at our cost)
On 1/03/2024 the customer re posted his ****** ****** and made the claim to BBB despite our vehicles being sold “AS IS” the business made several attempts to help this customer, which we are not obligated to do so.  The customer refused to get the vehicle repaired which was his choice, not the business fault.
At this point we are Not going to negotiate with *** ****** because he had been trying to hurt this business with slandering and his bad attitude. He purchased a used vehicle that was sold “As Is” and he test drove and approved it without being forced to do so. We appreciate *** ******’s business; we DO NOT appreciate his inaccurate claims and bad reviews.

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: Not only information that was given From them is accurate. I ended up purchasing a vehicle that did not work. After 3 days was not happy and they did not wanna work with me on. They only wanted me to spend more money.

I know I bought something as is, but you would think it would make sense.  To try to fix what was wrong with it. First to See if it would run and then give me a bill that instead. You wanted me to just give you and give you money That's not how it works. And on top of that, anybody that sells a vehicle that does not run more than a month. Let alone that mine only stay running 3 days And it was due to major wiring That eye myself could not see. I'm pretty sure you did because you said you worked on it and it Ran just fine. I know how this works. He sells something as is. Stick me with the problems. And then have me paid to fix it. So I can have a running vehicle and you get money out of it That's the definition of selling a lemon vehicle weather. It's as or not, it's still a lemon vehicle. You said it ran in it did for only 3 days. Almost cause a wreck on ninety

    Regards,

    ****** ******

I purchased a vehicle with a down payment and was going to pay payments on this vehicle from MVP I paid $3000 down payment on a truck within two weeks the truck was tore up I contacted MVP and brought the truck back however they had no mechanic on hand to look at it so I came and got the truck took it to a mechanic shop and paid for diagnostic and found out the engine was done and hi took the truck back to MVP gave it to them they were supposed to be fixing it however they told me that they would contact me and never did I tried pursuing contacting them for weeks maybe even a couple months I finally got a hold of them and they said I had 10 days to come up with $2000 or they would not give me my truck back never got a tag for the vehicle or anything I got pulled over and apparently they suspended my license because MVP got a tag for the vehicle and never gave it to me I had my tag taken away from my other vehicle for this purpose and I cannot get a hold of them to get this straightened out every time I contact them they tell me they will contact me back the next day to give me something Saying that I did not have possession of the vehicle or tag and my license was suspended at no fault of my own so not only did the buisiness screw me over with my truck and all my money now they’ve screwed me over with my license and other vehicle as well
