After accepting to replace the metal fascia on my home (Project Scope Attached) at a cost of $1,200.00, on 1 OCT 22 Mr. ***** ********************** of Morrison Construction (Business Card Attached) commenced the project. When I returned to my home on the 2 OCT and saw that in the process of replacing 55 feet of the metal fascia Mr. ********************** damaged 55 feet of the drip edge on my home, I immediately sent Mr. ********************** a detailed e-mail (Attachment/Encl 1) and a text (Encl 2). I respectfully expressed my concern for the poor quality of the work performed. The next day we spoke on the phone and Mr. ********************** stated that he didnt have the talent to replace the metal fascia without damaging the drip edge. I texted Mr. ********************** on 7 Oct, 11 OCT, 21 OCT, 24 OCT (Encl 2); I sent a second e-mail on the 2nd of NOV (Encl 3). I didnt get a text reply until the 4th of NOV (Encl 2). As per the enclosed documents, all my communications to Mr. ********************** were respectful and a reflection of my patience; however, the last text I received from Mr. **********************, on 4 NOV 22, (Encl 2) he labels my professional/respectful communication as a threat and refuses to communicate. I am a Veteran with 100% permanent and total disability, this situation is worsening my situation.41days have passed since Mr. ********************** commenced the project on my home. Morrison Construction has failed to engage in effective communications with me and has not shown interest in reaching a resolution. At this point I dont want Morrison Construction working on my home, and I will not pay $1,200 for an uncompleted project that resulted in damage to the drip edge on my home. Once the drip edge is fixed, it is only fair that I pay ********************** $336.73 for replacing 55 feet vs. $1200 for replacing 196 feet. Mr. ********************** left 32'9" of metal fascia and a 12FT section of wood on my property; after the drip edge is fixed I want those materials off my property.

There was no contract ever made up for this job. There has been no exchange of money all the materials are there on the ground we never asked for the money for the materials we paid for the ******* was including materials and labor. The customer told us 107 cubic Sq ft for the whole front and side  when it was 190 cubic Sq ft. When the customer came and complained about things we said I must not be qualified to do this to your satisfaction we have not exchanged any money maybe you should find some more qualified to your needs. The customer has has refused to get someone else which has caused the more damage. We did our best to satisfy the customer and he refused what we can do. We have never asked for any money nor would we ask for money as we told the customer to find someone else to do the job we are also taking a loss on the materials that we paid for.

I am rejecting this response because: The response is not clear on how to reach a resolution.

Every text message, e-mails, and BBB messages I have sent focus on fixing the problem, not on trying to make the problem bigger than it is or looking to make Mr. ********************************* look bad. From my impression the day we met, I believe he is a family man and a hard worker; and I respect that,I respect him. I believe miscommunication is what took this issue to this point. If Mr. ********************** had accepted to have a conversation with me and said what he has stated in the last sentence of his BBB message: We have never asked for any money nor would we ask for money as we told the customer to find someone else to do the job we are also taking a loss on the materials that we paid for. this issue would have been over a long time ago.

I need to hire/pay a roofer contractor to fix the metal fascia and damaged drip edge as soon as possible. If Mr. ********************** is saying that he will walk away without requesting a payment and would leave the materials (fascia/wood plank) behind, then I would find the resolution acceptable, and I would move forward with finding and paying a roofer contractor who can replace all the metal fascia and replace the damaged drip edge, vs. requesting Mr. ********************** to pay a contractor to ************ edge. Please let me know if this is acceptable; thank you.

    Sincerely,

    *********************************

As we told you in person and in our statement. Find someone else that is more experienced on that type of work. You have the materials that we left for someone else to finish the work you were not satisfied with. Thank you for the opportunity.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. ********************** has agreed to: not charge me for the partial work performed, and will leave the materials for me to hire/pay an experienced roofer/contractor to complete the project. This resolution is satisfactory to me.

Thank you Morrison Construction for an acceptable resolution.

    Sincerely,

    *********************************
