  I paid ***********************, president and owner of Equalrooter Drain Plumbing and Pipelining Company $3341.62 on June 8, 2023 to do some plumbing work for me. This was 50% deposit. He was supposed to file for permits with the west palm Beach county compliance department by June 12, 2023.He responded via text message and a call as of receipt of payment and confirmation of the job.On June 15, 2023 he confirmed that he filed for the permit. I requested a copy of the application. Thats when he stopped responding to emails, calls, and texts messages. I had to appear in court on July 5, 2023 for non compliance with the west palm Beach County special magistrate. Just to find out that the permit was never filed. I was able to get an extension from the court. Unfortunately, ***** is still not responding to my text messages, emails or calls.

  at the signing of the contract, I explain to the customer that the permit process he could take anywhere from 30 to ******************************************** with all the information I needed to file the permit. The customer disputed the charge with the credit card company her credit card company refunded her the entire amount. I had approximately eight hours of administrative hours on the job which I was not paid for. At this point in time.

  I am rejecting this response because:

   I absolutely got back to him with all the information and I understand that it could take time to get the permit approved.  But after he didnt respond to me for several weeks, I reached out to the permit office and was told that theres no permit pending for me or my property. Nothing was filed that is when I contacted my credit card company for a refund.  Thankfully I was able to get it.  He obviously didnt spend any administrative time because nothing was filed.  I asked him several times to provide me with the copy of the paperwork that he filed. He never responded.

  Anyway, I guess this case is now closed because I was able to get my refund.
