            On Nov. 30, 2021, I signed a contract ( see Attachment 1 ) with Jach General Labor, Corp, 2351 Raden Dr., Land O' Lakes, Florida, to repair and pressure wash the roof of my homestead.. The contract established a cost of $ 10,000 paid in a $ 5,000 ( 50% ) deposit on December 3, 2021 and a $ 5,000 balance paid on December 15, 2021. ( The cancelled checks are available if needed to substantiate the $ 10,000 payment to Jach General Labor, Corp.) On June 3, 2022 - six months after Jach completed the roof work - major leaks occurred that damaged the side entry hall ceiling and lighting. I contacted Amador Jach Y***, company owner, via email on June 4, 2022 ( see Attachment 2 ). After he sent a representative to inspect the roof leaks and ceiling damage ( subsequent to a verbal refusal by his contract coordinator Raul Lopez to honor the contract), Mr. Y*** emailed me a written breach of contract response on June 7, 2022 ( see Attachment 3 ). I then sent a certified letter restating the contract breach and gave notification that appropriate action would be taken. Mr. Y***'s contract breach prompted hiring a roofer to repair the deficient roof work, as verified by the roofer. Mr. Y***'s additional response augmented the contract breach ( see Attachment 4 ). The contract unequivocally states that he would repair "all" cracks and tile leaks. I am asking the company to reimburse $ 650 for the roof repair. Also an assessment is being done of the damaged ceiling and lighting where the major leaks occurred.
